Astro fans knew last year's 48 out of 48 saves was a complete fluke. The real Brad "Gas House" Lidge showed up this season and in Game 5. Sorry Philly fans had to see what we saw those final couple of years in Houston. He was a disaster and cut him loose one Albert Pujols 3-run homer too late. |

HaHa... so true! If we see Lidge again this series, they should ship Charlie Manuel off to the nearest care home. Let him spend the rest of his days there, staring into outerspace! We should be up 3-2 right now, looking forward to Pedro closing out the series in New York. Instead, we're in for the fight of our lives! If they finally get Pedro some 'run support', then we can look forward to game 7. Then Happ should get the start, especially after Hamels made that very disturbing indifferent remark about the series! Be glad you're there ASSHOLE! Countless 'Hall Of Famers', have never made it to the World Series and would have killed for the chance! What a TOOL! |

How about Senile Charlie Manuel catching some of the blame? Once again Grandpa manages us right out of a win! Bringing Lidge into the game was bad enough, but allowing him to stay AFTER he allowed Damon to take 3rd is incredible! Lidge stands there with his thumb up his ass and watches the game, instead of covering 3rd. At that point, Gramps, should have removed Lidge from the game, because they didn't want to take a chance on a passed ball with Lidge's Slider. If he can't use his only effective pitch, why leave him in the game to throw his 'batting practice fastball' to A-Tool? All this, with the game on the line?! A true collaboration of Stupidity and Ineptitude! |

Brad Lidge blew the save when he forgot to cover third on the Damon double steal. Give Damon credit. That play has happened a couple of times this year, where a runner has stolen two bases because of the overshift. It seems he was paying attention during the regular season and Lidge was not. Damon had the brains to realize the guy on the mound was a bonehead. |

BRAD LIDGE IS MY HERO!!! I LOVE THIS MAN!!! As a Yankee fan, I was absolutely thrilled that Manuel's country azz put in Brad "Limp Wrist" Lidge... "The Bridge to Failure"... Lide "The Bridge" always gets in trouble when he's about to succeed.... I knew the second that Damon started fouling off pitches that he was gonna get on base... But let's not leave out Manuel, who puts a 'tard switch on and instead of telling Ruiz to hold the ball if Damon steals, let's him throw to 2nd and.... WHOOPS!!! I DON'T KNOW is at 3rd... Ha! Wow thank you Mr. Lidge. The count is 1-2 and you can't throw one f$*#ing strike wow. It is now over, that hit was the World Series. Phils win tonight series would've been 2-2. Lee tomorrow would've been 3-2 Phils. Now were done. Lidge and Hamels are both pretty-boys and should be forced to spend a week in the rink with the Flyers. Maybe then they would toughen up. Oh and by the way Hamels you might want to get your face out of all the T.V. commercials. The fans can really see that you've got your head in the game ;) |
