Cody Ross is MLB garbage. He has never done anything impressive. Every hit he had in last years playoffs with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions was the exact same mistake pitch, a hanging breaking ball up and in. Just cause a guy can hit one pitch does not make him a good player it makes the pitchers that threw him that same pitch retarded. Look at his stats this year. That is as good as ross is and as good as he will ever be. Sorry giants fans u should feel thankful that he had his 15 minutes at the right time for u but the fact is this guy just sucks.

he can hit at times...but watch him on showtime...he looks like the little kid that was always picked on and now is trying too hard

The giants won the world series it is time to get over it. As for Ross what happens if next year he becomes a philly. Hating players is stupid and hating teams because they beat your team is psychotic. It is a game it is nice if your team wins but if they lose it is not the end of the world. So it is time for the east coast to get over itself the best team is the team that wins it has nothing to do with geography.

how many times can the marlins afford to let this stiff bat when the game is on the line, Ross is not capable of ever hitting in the clutch. He would make a great B-list player who enters a game for "mop up" duty, but please, keep him out of important games. If the game is 15 to 3 in the 8th, then bring him in, let him strike out to get the game over with.

It's time for the Mets to hit with risp.I say why not trade Church, Evans and Maine for Matt Holliday or Jermaine Dye and bring up Neise. At least he can pitch into 6th inning. The Wilpons said that Minaya can increase the payroll so why wait? We passed on Manny now make up for it.!
