From: Jim Seiler To: Buck, Dave Sent: Tue Nov 03 17:08:46 2009 Subject: RE: phi - Other - None - bad PR by player... Mr. Buck, Thanks for your reply. MLB was lied to. The link is still there and working...The millions of kids and adudtls that play this game are the same ones watching this short promo many times a day I am sure... Thanks, Jim From: DBUCK@phillies.com To: seiler64@hotmail.com CC: BWEBB@phillies.com Date: Tue, 3 Nov 2009 13:30:34 -0500 Subject: FW: phi - Other - None - bad PR by player... Dear Mr. Seiler
Thanks for bringing this to our attention – it’s horrendous. It’s also a fake endorsement; Cole had nothing to do with it. Major League Baseball had already been in touch with the company early yesterday and was told it was taken down from the web.
Again, thank you.

Hamels is great when things are going well for him but he has no "gut it out" in him. His clubhouse nickname of "Hollywood" is perfect". He's a wuss. Compare him with Pettit in game six. A workhorse, gut it out stud. Hamels? A gutless diva.

I hope Cole reads these. i want him to know that philly is behind him. he may have said the wrong words this week, but his point is understood. start fresh and regain last years dominance.
i had the privilege to be in st pete FLA last year after game one of series vs tampa bay. i met him at the hotel where he was staying where he asked if he could borrow a chair. he was so humble. i appreciate his personality. very unassuming. good solid man. heck of a pithcer.
i was 36 and cole was what 25? yet i still felt like a kid - looking up to a modern day hero.
cole, i hope you dont think about the media too much. you are loved in philly. you give 100% the fans will give you 100% you know that.

Myers Confronts HamelsBy KAREN ARAIZAUpdated 7:45 AM EST, Tue, Nov 3, 2009
Brett Myers confronted Cole Hamels in the clubhouse after Game 5, according to Yahoo! Sports. "What are you doing here? I thought you quit," Myers said as he walked past Hamels, according to a witness. Hamels responded with an expletive and then Myers was escorted out of the clubhouse by a team official. Myers' remark was in reference to Hamels saying after his performance in Game 3 that he couldn't wait for the season to end. "It's been mentally draining. At the year end, you just can't wait for a fresh start," Hamels said after Saturday's game. Apparently, Hamels' reaction also rubbed some other teammates the wrong way. Even Charlie Manuel said he was surprised, "but I don't really understand exactly how he meant that." |

Cole needs to work fastball with change and forget the curve. There is good stuff there. If he had half the mind of Pedro Martinez he would have won 15 ganes this year.

Immature and easily flustered. He never thinks beyond the pitch at hand. All big league aces are thinking 1-2 pitches ahead like a chess player. Cole is still playing checkers. |

He shouldn't have been on the post-season roster. I would have rather seen MadSOn stretched out AND STARTED.
Hamels' 2-pitch arsenal could work, but the third weapon needs to be CONFIDENCE. He seems to have none in himself, so why should we have any confidence in him?

Cole needs to be trade bait after the season. You need more than a fastball and a change up to get the job done

Yes, it's true. A complete game, 2-hit, shutout blows.Hope the person with the foolproof betting system didn't bet the farm this time around. |

Announcing the 100% guaranteed, 100% accurate investing system. When ever Cliff Lee is pitching for the Phightn's place a bet with your local odds maker and go all in for the Philly's to win. When ever Holes Ham-els is starting, place a bet for the Phightn's to go down to whom ever they are playing against, even if it's the Nat's. This system has been proven to be accurate 100% of the time since acquiring Mr.Cliff-Perfect-Lee. |

Hamels is obviously not what he was last season. He's hiding an injury, perhaps? Wouldn't be surprised to hear soon that he's headed for some sorta season-ending surgery. Why else would the Phils pick up both Pedro M. and Lee? When Hamels heads to the DL, he needs to take Lidge with him as he's also obviously trying to hide some problems.

He gave up 7 runs in 4 innings tonight. I don't think you can blame this one on the bullpen. |
