not sure where you got that stat but he does not make 12mil a year. And its not his fault mets suck so he doesnt have much opportunitys for saves

Mets need to stop buying primadonnas. They've been doing it since the early 90's and how many World Series have we won? They need to fire their GM and their Manager. SO frustrating to see a closer make $12 million a year and only have 19 saves at midseason. It seems like the philospophy is we get a guy for a huge amount of money, he underperforms, so then the thought process is to go buy a replacement for EVEN MORE money, only to to make the failure that much worse. Why am I a Mets fan? WHY?
