Jamie is a nice guy on the field. He is one of the fastest runners and is a nice person. I know how good he is in the pros. Derik

All people around the world know what they did to Luke Hazlewood and Derik Johnson at Ellsworth they gave them pscyphrenia. Were top twenty going to heaven. Well be happier in the long run. Hoffmann thought he was good sr year he didnt hit 560 everybodys how he acts he cheated on tv he stuck his bat out to go to third and its cheating.Then the next at bat he hit a dribbler to third. I know baseball good and I know hes not good enough to play pro. Im smartest ever you know who this is. He cant throw hard or run as fast as me he cant field as good as me and I know he takes steroids. So every body get over this website because its wrong to talk about somebody. Peace with everybody

Actually his senior year he hit .560 or a little above it, I know this cuz I played with him in the Lions All Star games and that's all I ever heard was how his average was close to Mauer's.  His 60 time I know has to be off and I would have no clue how strong his arm is.  He will more than likely spend his career in the minors cuz he just cant make it in the bigs but he'll make a good minor league career.  I guess I always thought it was interesting he never got drafted out of high school, had to have a seperate try out course with the help of the family.

Jamie didnt even hit over 400 ever. in high school, or legion. There were a few that did. His fielding is terrible. It says he ran the 60 in 6.4 That would be a record. We need to quit lying on this site.Playing with him I would say he runs about a 7 flat 60. And as far as how hard he throws from what i heard its only 85. I dont think hes ever broke any records in high school orlegion. Yes he is in the pros  but looking at his stats shows that hes not good enough to play in the pros and if he did he probably has his nose -up someones ass.

This is the most lamest most stupidest webpages of all time on a baseball player i met him he is the most nicest guys in the Albuquerque Isotopes i asked Jamie Hoffmann and Dee Gordon to sign my poster of the team to tell you the truth he had alot of fans wanting him to sign their belongings he made an effort he put his glove down after a winning game and he singed a little boys glove, another little boys baseball, and my poster (their were more fans but i left after he signed my poster) and while he was signing the little boys glove Dee Gordon came up first before him so I asked him to sign my poster too he didn;t do anything not hating on Dee becasue it really dosen't matter to me but the point is Jamie Hoffmann is one of those baseball players who dosen't have a huge ass ego he makes an effort to make his fans happy

All the comments on here are so pathetic.  It's obvious the people claiming to know him and saying he's not a team player have never met him.  He's one of the nicest, most laid back guys around and he does get along with his teammates.  The only thing you are proving with your negative comments is that you are filled with pure jealousy.  Jamie has more class and dignity in his pinky than you guys will ever dream of having in your lifetime.  Get over yourselves and grow up

As far as you guys go with the god damn yankees and won the world series. Lets see who is he playing for now again the Dodgers. By the way the yankees have the highest pay roll. All the starting people in the lineup dont measure out to Jamies way of starting over one of them.

LA dodgers teammate  Ive been around Jamie and he has a bad attitude, all he does is think for himself. I dont think he is good enough to play in the majors. He has a hard time socializing with other players. I think his best bet is to see if you can turn this all around and become a team player. If you do it there is a possibility of you doing a better job. As far as how hard he throws. i dont think its over 90 and I dont think that his 40 is below 4.5.

Who is this Joe Peters guy? The Yankees can only buy there way into a World Series now days. They are not like the rest that played years ago. Just a bunch of previous steroid users. I would not even want to associate my name with the Yankees. Anyone that beats the Yankees is a winner in my book! And they did not even have to spend all the money to beat them. Baseball has gotten way out of line for the price of a ticket so go stick your nose up the Yankees ass Joe Peters!

I grew up with Jamie's uncle and spend a lot of time on the family farm, took Jamie for his first horse ride, he still tells me about it. He's a great guy, I don't care what any of you any of you loosers say about him! get a life.

What does he get paid a year? He's hitting below .200 in spring training. I watched him play hockey and seen a player on the team that played just as good as he does too. It was just one game but I dont understand why everybody bows down to him like hes the greatest thing on earth.

I agree you must have been looked over or just suck....I'll go with just suck,I have met Jamie and from what I know he's really pretty normal.()word up Gull lake ice fishing contest).He must be doing something right because the friends he does have they all seem to love him.
