omg enough already about the stupid jersey alreay.  He was the backbone for the redsoxs thats why he earned the C and should want to wear it all the time.  I am a huge fan and sad that he retired but hopefully he stays with the redsox organization.  As for his new marriage...can't anyone just live a normal life without being exploited or judged every minute of everyday?  So much fo marriage being sacrid.

Reply-to:very stupid to hear the story of Varitek not wanting to wear the jersey that MLB wanted him to wear. MLB decided that he was in the all star game, they wanted him to wear a jersey without the letter C on it being it isnt the captain of the AL team.

TEK your the man.  I have been your no 1 fan since u started and will be till the day i die.  My house is done in u and so is my car my husband and kids say i am totally obsessed with u and I AM. U have got the sexiest body around and an awesome smile. I dont care what people say about u  u are the best catcher the sox will ever have and no matter where u end up i will still be your no 1 fan but sure would love to see u stay with the sox.  U r awesome.  I love u your no 1 fan.

Hello!  I am happy that your back playing baseball with the Red Sox!  I am also happy that I will be able to see you play baseball live with my own eyes.  I will also do my best job selling 50/50 raffle tickets this coming 2010 baseball season.  Selling 50/50 raffle tickets at Fenway Park is a lot more difficult than selling 50/50 raffle tickets at Mckeon Park.  The Hyannis Mets baseball players get it easy selling 50/50 raffle tickets.  For anyone out there reading this message, the Hyannis Mets are a great team to see playing baseball.  I love seeing Hyannis Mets playing baseball.
