Dont get me wrong I think Suppan should hang up the glove. But how can Macha leave him in the game after he gives up six runs in an inning and then the brewers come back to bring it within one. I mean all of his starts are below average at best. You should let him pitch until he gives up his first run then get him out of the game. Leaving Soup in a one run game is like putting Villanueva in for a save opportunity with the world series on the line. Soup please retire now. |

Jeff Suppan update. Tonight he faces Arizona and hes commin off two decent starts. Its only a matter of time that he gives up 6 runs in the first 3 innings, hope its not tonight. Brew Crew is finally over 500 at 11-10 first time this season. this game could mean Milwaukee is alone in 2nd place. we will see. GO BREWERS!!!! plz dont blow this for us soup..... |

oh sorry lemme correct his salary figure its 12.6 million another 3 million of worthless body and space... his crappy pitching reminds me of turnbow in a way... turnbow had a streak where he had not converted a save in the last 73 games.... and that is why he is in the minors and thats where he should stay... just like suppan... or just release him |

9.6 million and more going down the drain couldn't pitch 6 solid innings if he was facing a park and rec team oh btw 3 walks when bases are loaded?!!! in a row?!!!! at least throw it over the plate, he didnt even come close brewers should really just release him, save some money and maybe when the market opens up again buy a quality starting pitcher. ~you cannot replace CC |

This site is awsome. I can't agree more, suppan has done nothing since joining Milwaukke but lose. He has no movement on his pitches and his fastball tops out at about 88mph. Can you say batting practice, sure looks like it everytime he gets on the mound. I think they should have just taking their loss and let him go after last season. To start him on opening day is just stupid. |

OK Its now spring training of 09 and Suppan still sucks. Im writing this in only his second game and its only the third inning (of the game currently being played). He worked the first and gave up 3 runs......... So now in the first week of spring training Suppan has already gave up multiple runs/HRs in 2!!!! innings of work.. THIS GUY SUCKS BALLS! |
