What up ball crusher?Your story has touched me for awhile now.I know what you are going threw because I have been battleing addiction for along time now.It took the worste day of my life(my wife left me)to finally for the first time in my life to man up.We have 2 beautiful daughters Malee and Lana that are giving me all the strength I need right now.Over our 10 year relationship I have been battleing this addiction with drugs. It took my wife leaving me for me to finally realize what I have been doing to my family all these years.I never thought I was a drug abuser because I took care of my family and always worked.I never hit my family. It was the emotional abuse I put threw after comming down.I looked everywhere to try and send you my story. This is the only place I could find.I told my wife I would never do drugs again.Been clean for 2 months. It's a start.I can't hide it from her anymore.I know if I use again I will loose her and our daughters forever. That is not in my playbook.I'm not running away anymore.I want to get my story out there of the Average Guy.I didn't have a million dollor contract or indorsment deals. What I have is more valuable.MY FAMILY.My e-mail is jonathanthompson@live.com.My wife is tired of hearing words about how I am going to clean up.For the first time in our relationship I am taking action. No more words. Our worste fear is if 2 years down the road if she gives me the chance to finally do it the right way if I will relapse. That's why I am finally getting the help I need.Thank you so much Josh.Keep crushing those balls and let's make the playoffs next year.Go Rangers

From Pennsylvania. Took our 7yr old son who is a huge Josh Hamilton fan (by the way his name is also Josh Hamilton) to Baltimore on Friday night to see #32.  Was sad to see that he didn't play, but hope he feels better soon.  Guess we'll have to plan another trip back next year.  Good Luck Rangers......

Way to go Rangers on Saturday. Looking forward to Sept. 14, last time I was there at National Athem rehersal I kicked my shoes off and with out hitting the ball I  ran all the bases with my hands in the air just so I'd know how it feels to run a home run. It's awsome the crowd wasn't yelling for me, but God was, and it felt good to be well for a season. Is there a time that you will be seeing fans Sept. 19? Would like to meet and get an autograph?  jhorn@ntin.net Thanks

hi josh your timing has gotten better.  You can't help it if the pitcher won't pitch to you because you can hit it out of the park. I hope on Sept. 19 I have a chance to meet you. When I was in the Hospital this past spring break. I would wear your shirt because you're an overcomer and so am I. Thanks for your book. You inspire me to live life and stay well. I am second too.

god isn't real so if thats what you lean on to stay sober, its no surprise when you fall off the wagon

Wrong. He does exists. Have you ever heard of temptation? Maybe your so far off track and have no conscience  your wouldnt know that.  You believe in the air you breath and you cant see that right?  Josh will make mistakes he is human. We all will make mistakes. I respect him for giving props to Jesus in his interviews. Only a real man would do that.

Josh I believe that we will have days when life is more difficult than others.I am inspired how you take responsibilty, and push the restart button and go forward.  Adjusting to med changes is hard, so the timing is perfect with body and mind.  I struggle with med changes, and it's just what I go through so I can do my best. As a martial art instructor, and student being paient with myself and the meds can be frustrating, but it's worth the wait.Have a blessed day!  See you Sept. 19 GO RANGERS

Hi! I was proud to see the Rangers finish strong against the Angles.  Looking forward to going to a game. It's been about 14 years since I've been to the Ballpark in Arlington. I enjoyed your book and encouraged my students to read it, I gave it to a doctor so he could help others in his practice.  Thank you for being a role modle to encourage me and remind me that I am never alone.  Can't wait to see you play Sept. 19.  Stay well and I will too.

Mr.Josh Hamilton your my true inspiration in the game of baseball you are a really super good player you make amazing catches great hits and on day before on of my little league games it was a rivalry game astros vs d backs and we were the astros and we won but before that game i watched your mechanics on youtube and that same day i hit two homeruns amd i thank you and my guardian angels for that and the same day the first HR went in to the street in left field which is 240 feet  and the 2nd went up CF and that was about 225 and that is how we won the first one was a single HR and the second was W/1

I just read the book Beyond Belief and was wondering what kind of numbers did Josh put up during his 16 games back from his drug problem?  for the cubs and reds to show interest he must have kicked butt during those games.. also if anyone is a close friend of his i would like to know if Josh still believes his parents were not the problem... I wonder if some of the drug dealers that use to deal to him ever try to contact him.... like demons.. it seems like ur story Josh was all in a huge plan to make you an angel for other people... if anyone has answers to my thoughts please email me Vandoren6@aol.com ---- Josh you can email too hahah
