There is literary no disputing that both Rivera & Orgasms are amazing.
Obviously the person who doesn't think Mariano is the best of all-time doesn't know much about baseball history or statistics.

whoever is talking shit on rivera is an idiot.  i absolutely hate the yankees, but mariano rivera is nothing but a class act and is undeniably one of the greatest closers of all time

I second you.  I've watched more than 90% of all Mariano's games and he is absolutely atrocious!  I cannot believe a team ever signed him.  I'd rather have a Little Leaguer out there.  HONESTLY.  He sucks more than that fool Derek Jeter.  If there was a Hall of Shame it would certainly house both Mariano and Jeter.  Two of the absolute, by far, most extreme worst MLB players the league has ever seen!!  I could go on for days...

Mariano is probably one of, if not THE, worst closer in MLB history and don't you DARE try and tell me otherwise. You've got to be a complete idiotic fool if you think he can even COMPARE to the likes of Santiago Perdido or John Dominguez! You suck Mariano!

Marino Rivera is the best closer ever he needs 4 saves to get 530 Career saves because he got his 526th save in 2009.

Does Mariano suck? Yes! Of course he does, and the Yankee sportswriters want to stick their heads in the sand with assurances like "Well, at least the closer spot is all tied up," like his missteps in 2007 are just a bump instead of a trend for an aging, worn out pitcher. The Yanks have lately had a loyalty to their older guys based more on sentiment than sense. They'd better not get too used to Joba in the starting rotation since he'll be the closer by the end of 2008!

But here's why he really sucks: Mariano tried to defend his lousy pitching last year by saying, "Hey, I'm only human!" Well, bub, if you wanna be "only human", go get a job for eleven dollars an hour somewhere and see how fast that chip falls off your shoulder!
