If anyone was not convinced that Mark Reynolds SUCKS, please refer to the replay of the Baltimore Orioles April 10, 2012 game vs the New York Yankees. Reynolds was 0-4 at the plate with 3Ks. Plus, his error cost the O's the lead and his botch in foul territory in the 12th cost the O's the game. Release him NOW!

Useless player.

30 homeruns are not worth a 0.200 average and 200 strikeouts.  The strikeout is the worst plate appearance.  Even a groundball will move runners over or bring someone in and/or force errors to be made on the field.

What's amazing is how Oriole fans keep saying he should be the DH -- ugggg

This dude doesn't deserve to be in the majors as far as I'm concerned. I'll take a consistent base hitter w/ no homers to a powerhouse strikeout king ANY day of the week. Not sure ultimately whose decision it was to bring him on board the O's- but I believe hes brought an 'offensive' curse to the team!

The only reason Mark Reynolds didn't set the record for most strikeouts in a season three straight years is because he played in 10 less games in 2010.

Wanted: Good third-baseman that gets on base, hits for a nice average, moves runners, doesn't have a .940 fielding percentage.
Will Consider: 1.Trading lesser third-baseman and cash for better third-baseman 2. Nice Jeep with good off-road tires 3.American Born President.
If Interested: Contact Luke Scott

Lost: Getting on-base
Description: What happens after you go to bat, then don't return immediately to the dug out. Could look like a triple, could be a double, maybe even a measly single.
If Found: Return to Mark Reynolds

You are comparing Mark Reynolds to Albert Pujols?? The best player in the game?  You are all idiots and should be shot in the forehead.  Reynolds is a hard nosed player, who can carry a team for weeks at a time.  Just so happens he swings and misses too.  Don't compare an all or nothing type player with the best all around player in the game.

Listen here gay-wiggers:

a) reynolds hits a billions home runs. who else does? oh yeah historic ass fkin bballers.

b) every team before the dbacks was waiting for the dbacks - straight true defi-fkin-nition.

c) y'all prolly just ranger and/or royal fans fkin haters!

d) any ho on g-street say "So what? Pujols..." get a cold jimmy up in that.

SOrry that 1.857 slg% and 2.445 ops is for bases loaded.

For man on third less than two outs it's 1.357 slg% and 2.018 ops

Reynolds is lying to himself about being productive. Even with Pujols large number of walks, he still putting the ball in play once more per game than Reynolds. That's huge because it can not only mean more hits but by putting the ball in play, you can move a runner over, have a sac fly or have a runner score on a groundout. Renolds seems to forget how bad he is in situational hitting. With no runners on, he's batting a solid .289 Put a man on third with less than two outs and he's batting an abusrdely anemic .043. With RISP, he's batting .226 which increases to a still meager .237 with two outs. Even more ridiculous is that with the bases loaded he's hitting .000

The worst part is that he doesn't seem to care because he was 42 homeruns. So what? Pujols has 47 homeruns and has struck out about 60 times and has amazing situational hitting stats such as .364 with RISP though oddly only .229 with RISP and two outs though an great a 1.050 ops with that .229. Still with a man on third and less than two outs, he's batting a whopping .607 with a no words to describe how ridiculous it is 1.857 slg% 2.445 ops

.043 to .607 is one of the biggest gaps I've ever seen but an even bigger gap is bases loaded where Pujols is batting a cyborg like .643

.000 to .643 is beyond absurd.

It's much more than a five homerun gap when it comes to production.
