McLouth sucks so bad, that I googled "Nate McLouth sucks" and found this website. I wish the Braves would trade him for a washing machine or something.

Maybe Nate McClouth doesn't suck. Maybe, it's just that ridiculous hair do that's sucking the ability to play baseball out of him. He didn't have it when he was good and played for the Pirates. Now that he plays for the Braves and has the California sunshine look he sucks. And please no one respond it might be because he now plays for the Braves. Just think about what your saying, he used to play for the Pirates...the Pittsburgh freaking Pirates...really?

I am 10, I am your biggest fan.  I am from Pittsburgh, we Moved to North Carolina.  So now that you are with the Braves I am a Braves fan.

I was very sad when you had to go to AAA.  My dad says that AAA is not bad.  That there are alot of different AAA programs.  There supposed to help people.  Looks like it did.

I am very happy to see you playing again and hitting homeruns.

My dad says that your success is a result of hard work, determination and never quit attitude.  Oh and surround yourself we good positive people like Chipper and Mr. Cox who never give up and that I may be as good as you someday.

One example that makes me wonder if it is really Nate McClouth in that gear; Sept 18, Mclouth strikes out instead of hitting into an inning ending double play. Alex Gonz comes up and hits what should have been a triple if he new how to run the bases. In essence McClouth had two RBIs and did not cost us any either. 


McClouth likely still sucks. I personally believe it is someone else playing with his name on the back.

Nate McClouth may no longer suck people, or is someone playing with a Nate McClouth disguise. He has played big in his return. Braves fans face it we need this guy, and we need him to keep it up.

Earlier this year whenever they had less than 2 outs with a runner on 1st i would actually hope McLouth to strike out.  At least thats just one out instead of two.  His defense is almost as worse as his batting.  When will he learn the fundamentals of getting behind a pop fly to attempt to hold a runner?  And when will someone tell him to quit trying to hit everything in the air.  I dont know if the dude cant see or if he's pulling an escobar and wants traded.  Either way, put Hinkse in left and diaz/cabrerra in center and let those $5 million dollar bills grab a towel and wipe the sweat off of the $500,000 players that are so much better.

Automatic out Mclouth just cost us another one. I turned to my buddy and said "i bet $20 that mclouth grounds into ANOTHER double play" and he did. And it sounds like he will be staying in the line-up from what bobby said after the game. Ive got my fingers crossed that Heyward runs over him again and then Mclouth can spend some more time on the DL whining about his head hurting. Id trade him for one of the marlins ballboys at this point. they were spearing some balls in miami.

The most important thing is that NM's rejoining the team has further stressed Cox's need to give em all playing time. It ruins the chemistry. Those guys know he can't play. Blanco was integral in 4 wins. The Phils are about to rip off 12 in a row. Trust me. We have to play .600 ball or we will not win the division. We need someone who understands game situations. Wren removed one cancer. Now get all of it Frank.

First off i wanna say that i USED to like McLouth. When he freakin tried. im sick and tired of this crap. (every game he plays in he grounds into a double play in an important situation) or he will pop up, or ground to first. he dos'nt try to throw out runners. i mean damn ur hittin 169. atleast try in the field. im tryin to find frank wren's number an ask him if he is strait up blind or not, b.c his ass is grass. and needs to be sent far from atlanta.

thank you guys...Nate Mclouth is a disgrace to baseball. He was average to below average that short time he was with us last year and this year, he not only hasn't helped us a bit...he's actually found a way to lose games for us. Why in the world did we send Gregor Blanco to the minor's for this waste of space. And did anyone else her Bobby after the gamge? "Mclouth couldn't have hit the ball better..." tell that to Brooks Conrad who got the job done last night I mean give me a break. Game changing situation in the late innings...bases loaded, 1 out tie game....oh hey, lets keeo our .120 guy in there and see if he doesn't get lucky!!!

Another opportunity to score down the drain because of Nate. Bases Loaded 1 out 2-0 count and Nate decides I'll swing at the next pitch. We all knew that he was going to hit into that double play. They should have had Tim Hudson pinch hit for him or at least tryed a squeeze play. Nate really cant get a hit, its embarrassing, when are they going to designate him for assigment. He is making us lose.

Nate has lost the recipe. Bobby Cox is a Hall Of Famer with only one short coming. He is to loyal to his players. Ok, we wanted to see if he could come back. He can't. Let's move on without him. Even if we don't trade Gregor Blanco is a huge upgrade.

Amazing...someone shares my view. We need to be more aggressive when not in a dp situation. We take walks and invariably the dp follows. Pisses me to no end that we do JUST exactly what we don't need in these situations. I got yunel gone...now one more!!!!!

Why is this awful player still on the Braves?  We have so much more talent and this guy is killing us.  He just hit into a double play with bases loaded in extra innings.  What a waste of a roster spot!!

Anyone notice that when McLouth gets a down and in pitch his right shoulder and bicep obstruct his view of the ball? I saw video of his right field homers and I don't think he can see the ball the last ten feet until the last split second. He's swinging blind so if he gets a breaking pitch theres no way to adjust cuz he never sees the break. He's looking more toward shortstop and not down on the ball when he swings. Then I watched Heyward swing and his head doesnt come up until his right field homers are almost halfway out of the park.

Jordan schaffer sucks dick but he would be doing a lot better than Nate. And Nate doesn't even try on defense, Ive seen it about 20 time where he doesn't even try to throw out a runner tagging up. Complete garbage just as he was last year he just got lucky that the braves centerfeilders before him were awful. If the braves were gettin any production from the former allstar we would be 10 games up.

You ask if the people dogging him are pro ball players maybe you should ask Nate cause he sure is not playing like it. The latest Mclouth feats include unbelievable whiffs on two grand slam pitches with the bases loading then chasing a pitch so high it could have traveled over the back net then he costs us the game because he can't yell I got it in center field. You are crazy defending this guy. He bats sub .200 was nothing special last year and now (as evidenced by tonights debacle) the guy can't even play center. I pray to god every night that they will move him to triple A ball to get his act together or at least a pinch hitting role so he can stop being an automatic out in our line up. He is going to become the first outfielder ever to start a game batting ninth because even Medlin hits better than him. Had one good year for the pirates which was definitely magnified cause the team sucks so bad and you act like batting .276 with 26 home runs are mvp type numbers. And one gold glove shit that is the absolute shittiest award you can get in MLB. I would much rather he made a couple errors and batted three hundred then looking like a little leaguer behind the plate. He is by far the worst center fielder in the game right now and the only way he is coming out of his slump is when his contract runs out and absolutely noone signs this chump. Shame on him for taking his 5 mil a year and deciding he doesn't want to play anymore.

Yea he sucks so bad that he won a gold glove...haha seriously what do you do with your life?  Are you a professional baseball player?  Easy to criticize when you aren't in the position....Nate will come out fine in the end...its not like he is the only player to ever go through a long slump...what is wrong with you people seriously...he is by far one of the best centerfielders in the league and although he is having a tough time hitting lets not act like he hasn't been a great hitter in the seasons before...at one point or another everybody struggles hitting...who does anyone think they are to degrade him...he does have what it takes and I don't think any team doubts that
