I think everyone would agree he was terrible in the post-season. During the year, his stats were pretty bad: struck out 1 in 4 times on average and hit a miserable .249 for the year. Sure he hit some home runs, but never rarely in the clutch (but he did play well against the lowly Orioles). Yanks let Bobby Abreu go to get Swisher. MISTAKE |

The Yankees have so much talent (albeit bought, overpaid talent), this guy shouldn't be allowed to wipe up their spit! Whines like a beyotch, acts like one, and cheapens the Yankees image! To the person who just posted who's team is probably out of it, the people who have posted here are fans with more intelligence that the Yankee brASS. Swisher has been a bust from day 1. The blind fans who look at the bottom line say "Girardi has done a great job, we're in the WS" and "look at Swisher's stats". Joe Torre is probably one of the worst managers in the history of the game, the stacked Dodgers are finding that out now. So statistics don't tell the whole story. Player's managers only win when the talent on the team overcomes the manager's bad decisions and non decisions. |

Biggest problem on this team is the way Joe MORON manages, next the way Posada (pronounced Piece of shitta) calls a game, and last but certainly not least, NICK I can't hit for shit SWISHER who can't field, can't run, and certainly can't $@#$*&# HIT. Why was Swisher in lineup??? Why was Matsui in lineup??? Now Phil Hughes looks like Jaba the putz, pitching like a deer in headlights. How can one f'n manager ruin so many players so fast.
