My son Ryan is 4 today and he loves the white sox. We bought him a Konerko jersey and when he opened it this morning he asked the best question ever. "Mommy can I call Paulie and tell him I got his jersey for my birthday?". All I could tell him was that I don't have Paulie's phone number. I decided this was probably the closest I could get.

Looking for a PK favor.  My daughter, Katerina, is a life time fan.  While in High School, John Hersey AH, she won an art competion with a swinging close-up of Paul Konerko portrait (hanging in our family room).  After an Academic All-American collegiate softball career, Loyola Chicago, she is currently training as a Naval aviator in Enid OK.  I was hopeful I could get the portrait signed by Paul as a Christmas present.  Kat will be home on leave for Christmas.  Thanks,  Mark, markkrausemd@hotmail.com

Paul, As a relatively long time White Sox fan who has never been to Chicago, I have followed your career with great interest. I have tremendous respect for the way you play the game on the field, as well as the way you carry yourself while off the field. You are a true ambassador of the sport, and my favorite player to wear the Black and White. It is with great sadness that I am reading reports that contract talks have broken down between you and the Sox. While I will always be a White Sox fan, I will always be grateful for the contributions you gave the team. I live on Long Island, in New York, which is a rough place to be a fan of anything with the word Sox in it. I have been trying for the past few years to get a road trip together to go out and see a Sox game. In 2011, this dream of mine will finally come true, and I will be making the 855 mile trip, driving to see my beloved Chicago White Sox as the home team. It would break my heart to see anyone other than your number 14 manning first base. Knowing that guys like Pierzynski and Dunn have deferred contract money just for a chance to play with you, I sincerely hope that you will make the right decision and I will see you on first when I finally make it to the Cell. Stay where you belong, where you are a cherished hero, in the Windy City (the SOUTH side, that is. If you don't come back here, please, for the love of God, go anywhere else but the Cubs). If my night in Chicago finds you elsewhere, please except my (and indeed, the entire city of Chicago's) eternal gratitude for all that you have accomplished, and for the great memories of the Sox return to glory. To this day I wonder why he is even still playing for the south siders?  Is Kenny Williams hooked on the same juice as Paulie, or is Paulie just that damn good under Kenny's desk?  Who even heard of Konerko until he got his break on the White Sox?  I know I didn't and I look at what we gave up to keep this waste of air.  Frank Thomas is a shoe in for the Hall of Fame and the only sad thing is he never got to finish his great career where it began.  Thanks to Paul, Kenny, and stupid Jerry this team lost out on one of the greatest players to play on the south side.

My friend knows him from his home town and I can confimr that he is a major douche bag and, judging by his percipetous drop in numbers, I would gather a steroid user to boot.

No one has  seen Paulie dressed up in full tranny garb so how can people say that he would be a fugly broad.
I have seen him all dressed up and apart from being pretty in pimk, he is pant pant darn hot.
Paulie should be awarded Man and Woman of the year.
Jennifer could be a tranny though.
