Reply-to:I love Raul sooooo much and he is the 110% BEST phillies player! Keep doing what you are doing, Raul! I will faint if I ever meet him, which I probobly wont!!! Oh well even when he is not on the team anymore he will still ALWAYS be my favorate!

First of all, if you think Ibanez is the best Phillies player, you don't know baseball. That's a fact, not my opinion. We have 5 terrific pitchers, one a rookie of the year canidate. Also Halladay is a Cy Young canidate. If Utley has a few more good years, he's in serious company for all-time second basemen and a probably a future Hall of Famer. Howard's delivering, despite the strikeouts, and Pence and Victorino are beyond solid in the outfield, with stellar arms, good defense besides that, averages over .300 and double digit home runs. Ibanez has a mildly decent arm and can cover mediocre range. I'll give him credit on his ability to judge fly balls though. But aside from that, he's been hitting below .240 for most of the year, and can never seem to get a clutch hit. He's a nice bench player at best. Right now, hands down Mayberry has earned the starting job from Ibanez. The only reason he isn't starting now is because he's never played as much as he has this year in his career. I'm not trying to insult you, really. I do like Ibanez as a person, he's a great guy. I love him, I love the Phillies, but Ibanez isn't even close to the best player.

Raul is a class act.  He's a one man team, too often overshadowed by other, well-deserving players.  Keep up the great work!

How is Raul still starting? He has one productive game in the month of June. He is HORRIBLE!

Phillies need a new replacement for this guy.  If you don't take of this issue now, he will haunt you in the postseason.

I don't care how much money Raul makes, he is a class act.  If you ever hear him interviewed, listen to how well he articulates his wording/speach.

I great athlete and a great person.

What in God's name made him think he could steal third? Did he think the element of surprise would be enough? He was out by a mile and a half!

Raul is awful this year. get rid of him ASAP. Not only is he showing his age, but he's making AWFUL decisions at the plate...undisciplined swings, horrible approach, swinging at pitches neck high, at his ankles, flailing around, looking totally lost and overmatched. This guy is such a piss poor player now...he's hitting in the .240's. That is PATHETIC for a guy making around $10 million a season. I wish they would just bench him and bring up Dominic Brown. Ibanez helped the team the first half of last year, and has been a complete bust since then, especially this year. Go away Raul.

I'm a KC Royals fan, but just want to say, Ibanez has never needed steroids, he has been a good hitter with power his whole career. Congrats on the career year and keep it up!!! PS to the haters, look at the fact; he plays for Phillys now who have the 2nd easiest stadium in the league to hit homers, also he actually has protection with the Phillys killer bats and pitchers are forced to throw him easier pitches. To accuse someone with no facts is immature and rude

I know you don't know me. But Beleive me when I say. The idiots who are accusing you of Steriod use are in the minority. You play with HEART. Everytime someone does something good... There are people who like to try to tear them down. It's jealousy! Everyone in Philly is behind you!!! Keep it up! Don't listen to the haters!
