Rick Ankiel sucks but he is a good clubhouse guy he dosen't get on base and gets injured alot he got called up because a cf was needed and to liven up the clubhouse he dosen't even get on base.

Rick Ankiel is my hero. Rookie can gfh in a dirty alley with a broken bottle.

Rick will always be a Cardinal and a GREAT one in my eyes. Character is something you can't practice or train for, Rick's got it by the boat load. I wish we still had him.

Is it possible that he's getting worse? He's had about 5 hits with the Braves and 1 homerun... Even McClouth had one brilliant moment... But that was it.... F$@:-/ this guy, I want to win this year and he's not helping. He's this year's Greg Norton...without the walks... and probably doesn't do Bobby's taxes or whatever that POS was doing to keep his 1 for 57 career going. Ugh.

I love how people think he is such an amazing story going from pitcher to outfielder. Well, he wasn't any good as a pitcher due to issues up in his head, so he tried to become an outfielder. Well he's hitting .230 with a whopping 4 home runs and 18 RBIs as of this writing in AUGUST. Someone tell me what the amazing story is here again?
