he has just been brutal at the plate, i always liked hardy, but i was kind of happy we got nish and hoped to have him at second. HE SUCKS....PUTRID...boy was i wrong

The Twins thought they were getting the second coming of Ichiro when they signed Nishioka. WRONG! This guy shows some athleticism but botches innumerable routine plays, he does nothing on the basepaths, he doesn't take walks, he has NO power and he couldn't hit his way out of a wet paper bag. Send this guy to the minors where he belongs, cause he ain't no major leaguer.

Tomorrow will be Nishi's Target Field debut. He'll be playing shortstop. While in FLorida he worked with Paul Molitor on his fielding, defense, and footing. Hopefully he has learned to jump out of the way of double-play break-up slides.

Nishi is playing some rehab games with the Rochester Red Wings. He could be back with the Twins by this coming Friday.

Nishi has been working on his footing with Paul Molitor in FL. Here's hoping he's learned to avoid slides and not plant his feet when he return to the Twins later this month.
