pablo sucked vs. costa rica- he looked like a big SOFTIE had worse of a defensive effort than kljestan or bradley. If he is the only defensive midfielder we got (our Makelele) than we are SCREWED. The man was gased and soft as putty, when the ball in front of you ATTACK IT like you got a pair, countless where AMERICANS were watching people dribble ....
We are NOT TALENTED we don't have dribblers and long-ballers but WE HAVE EFFORT and TOUGHNESS that screams AMERICA and mastroeni is anything BUT!!

I was just watching a video of Italy vs USA 2006 and you were a great player. You deserved at most a yellow card for the challenge which got you sent off. Your long shot which went over the cross bar was awesome! I remember you playing in 2002 Cup as well. I was watching then with a friend of mine who said he used to play amateur soccer with you in Arizona growing up. Well, that was like 6-7 years ago :). My friend's name was/is Scott.
