The whole Serra thing was years ago. Back when he was younger and less serious about fighting and more interested in the partying. Now he's moved on to fight efffectively against some really great fighters. Fitch and Alves gave him a war. And quite frankly, I thought Alves was the only guy who could beat GSP. He has no more competition in the WW division so maybe he does need to move up. The weight thing is the problem. He walks around at 190 which means he would have to gain more weight to be able to fight at 185. I know that doesn't make sense but, he needs to add more muscle weight. He needs to fight some of the top guys in the MW division than move on to Silva. |

GSP really did kinda suck after he got knocked out by Matt serra thus making him kinda scare to fight standing up so now he basically do ground and pound to everyone he fights now which is very effective GSP is deadly if he goes up in weight classes or down. There is basically no more competetion for GSP now BJ penn is not aoll that great either in their fight they didn't even fight standing up just in the clinches I wanted to see somebody get knocked out hahahaha |

GnP is a great style. Georges is a wrestler and he shows that with his takedowns and ability to handle a guy on the ground. Wrestling is a style. He is also a black belt in a type of karate most people are not familiar with. |

i dont think gsp necessarily sucks, i think he jus has no style, every single fight, all he does is take downs and ground and pound. And he only does it cuz hes in amazing shape so he knows he can ware out his opponent and he wont get tired at all. I personally think thats weak! sure he wins, but cmon man, that style is weak!, kinda like what tito and cotoure used to do in there prime, ground and pound , weak |

It's funny to read these posts. There really isn't anything you can say about GSP....he's avenged his two losses and has absolutely dominated the number 2 challenger a few times now. It doesn't matter what you say...he's obviously the best. |

Ok that was a stupid comment. GSP can not go down to 155. That is way to dangerous to his health. A 190-200 pound man can not lose all that weight or they suffer from severe health problems or even death. It's easy for BJ to go down to 155 because he walks around at about 165-170. Let's think logically here. |

GSP should try moving up or down weight classes to fight instead of sitting and waiting around for others to come to him. If he is not scared, move down to 155 and fight Penn or gain a few to fight Silva or Alves. |

Gsp used to be an exciting fighter but ever since matt serra 1 and his weak chin was exposed he is to scared to stand and fight with people so now he just takes them down and lays on them. Alves would've won the fight if they stayed on their feet. Sure he won but it was boring as hell. |

He just has to take Alves to the ground. Alves is not known for his wrestling or his. Though he trains with ATT and has a purple belt in BJJ, he relys more on his standup. And why wouldn't he, he hits really hard. But, GSP won't have any problems taking Alves down and using his wreslting and BJJ skills to win. |

for GSP to win he will have to use his speed and kick the snot out of alves legs and knees and elbow his face in till it caves in then go back to his legs and keep kicking them till alves legs break GSP will have to kick and move untill alves legs snap . |
