even if ortiz could've beaten evans, he could never beat hamill, giffin, thiago silva, machida, jackson, rua, etc. evans was right when he said the felt ortiz break in the 3rd round of the first fight, and that ortiz quits when he gets hit. that is why ortiz has always tried to win the first two rounds. he's always lacked the stamina to win the third round. that is also why he has also avoided strikers.

Tito should retire from MMA. There was a time when he was a top contender but the way MMA is now I don't believe he has what it takes to stay on top. He's got too many injuries and looked pretty slow in his last fight. Time to quit.

another thing.  #4)  his record his so fluffed it's embarassing, yeah let's fight an aged, sub par ken shamrock 3 times, a weak patrick cote from 2004, and other 'forgettables'.  he's just a guy with a fighter's chance, and he used it to beat people that are easily below his caliber.  that combine with his attitude made him who he is today, not his fighting.

tito is absolutely horrid, the guy is only back in the ufc for money and money only, he's still a big draw even though his performance is outdated.....he hasn't evolved as a fighter to compete with today's breed.  this is the guy that apparently always: 1. comes in the best shape ever to every fight yet can't manage to push his stamina past 1.5 rounds. 2. gives the same bull**** dialogue about bashing someone's face, inflicting pain, yet can't seem to.....one of those guys still living vicariously through his earlier life.  3. always has a god damn excuse for losing, always on a crutch and pulls out the i'm crippled B.S. card....ya know what, he's a fighter, fighters get hurt and are hurt, suck it up like a man and don't mention anything about why you lost and then change gears to talking about dedicating fights to dead people so the crowd will stop booing, what a douche.  i'll be happy when he either gets k.o.'d so we can't hear him directly post fight or once the ufc mans up and drops him for good.
