Another silver spoon NASCAR driver who gets to wreck week in and week out because Daddy's company sponsor's the car. I know this is NASCAR culture, but I hate to see it when drivers with talent, and who accomplished more get kicked to the curb. For example, Mike Bliss wins a race last year and gets fire. While John Wes, and Paul Menard get to stink year in and year out and keep their rides.

He hasn't worked hard for anything. He's crashing cars on his daddy's money! Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know a damn thing about racing or watch the Nationwide Series. He is nothing more than a field filler and a piss poor one at that.

Okay first of all I know the Townely family personally and I know for a fact they work hard at everything they do. They are the kind of people who do have money but don't go around flaunting it and definitely do not pay people off! yes Jon Wes has wrecked quite a few times but who cares he has come so far. I mean give him some credit he is only 19 not even a year out of high school and is racing in the nationwide I mean that takes a lot of work and dedication. He has accomplished so much and is doing something that a lot of us probably could admit was a dream of ours when we were little and maybe deep down inside still is a dream of ours. So stop hating on him he is only doing what he loves. how would you like if someone was hating on you because you messed up while doing something you love.

John Wes Townley has proven that he is a talented driver. He started Texas race 3 laps down and finished 18th. He is awesome! He is only 19 yrs. old and has a great career ahead of him.

He was in racing school at Skip Barber with my husband and he is a very soft-spoken, nice kid. He has put in the time, effort, and sweat to be a NASCAR driver for many, many years in many different venues and is fortunate to be living the dream he has had since he was very young! Go John Wes!

I have seen John Wes race twice this year , once in Daytona, he came in 4th and secondly, in Talladega, he came in 16th and I thought he did very good. Gary A. |

if you arent a race car driver, then you have no right to say how hard it is because you obviously have NO IDEAjohn wes's dad does have money, but its not like he pays people off to do things for them. they are not like that at all! (if they were, dont you think he'd be in the big time nascar races and have his pics all over the nascar magazine? ) john wes does so much for racing it's not even funny. its hard on him physically AND mentally..the last thing he needs is some ignorant people saying "the only reason he's here is b/c of his rich dad" becuase youre off by sooooo much |
