Good Choice Carl - Kate is as we say in Alaska, a natural beauty. People decisions change over time, and I think Kate is a good match. Sure, Carl had a few very attractive female friends, but when it comes down to it...your heart is what counts. Carl made a good choice, I don't think he would go out and marry just any girl - cherish her Carl. She is one lucky woman. |

Knock it off, Carl edwards WIFE is an absolutly stunning woman. She obviously has brains and ambitions of her own which is probably what he (Carl Edwards) loves most about her. A real Carl Edwards fan cares more about his racing and not his personal life, get a grip on reality. Carl has said before in interviews that Kate likes all the off-track stuff in Sonoma so it's not surprising that she would show up this weekend. |

Give her a break. Unlike some of the wives she has a real life and a real job. Carl seems happy and that should be all that matters. She is his trophy and good for them. |

Right after they got engaged Kate had no trouble taking off 4 or 5 weekends in a row to go to Carl's races. Then at the end of the season she took off another 2 whole weeks to go to NYC for the Cup Awards then right to London for that international race that Carl was in. It's convenient that Kate has that clinic job as a fall-back excuse for whenever she doesn't feel like going to a race, but that job doesn't seem to get in her way when she really wants to take time off. |

00:35:36 -- I didn't know that. All I know is she is a doctor, but works in neurological research I think which is the reason behind her not being able to come to all of the races. She probably has no $$$ right now, but will be wealthy someday. What I didn't get what why they gt married so quickly after he proposed and why Carl just seems a little sadder and his performance has dropped. Could be that Roush slump, but I don't know... |

It doesn't matter what she looks like. It's just really suspicious that Kate only became interested in Carl AFTER she found out that he was a multimillionaire. Kate never gave Carl the time of day when they were in High School. They weren't friends, they never stayed in touch, then all of a sudden, 10 years later, her friends tell her that Carl is a big time NASCAR driver and then *poof* she's interested in getting to know him. |

I don't think that Kate is the prettiest woman in the world, but she is good looking. Its nice to see "celebrities" with regular looking people and not only that stereotypical supermodel with big boobs and questionable brains :-D You just described Kate. |

Yeah, I wish Carl was my cousin. Carl and Kate need to come to Alaska and experience NASCAR, Alaska style. It entails about 12 dogs, a sled, snow, and hang on ! You think 192 mph is fast, get on the back of a sled - and Carl has the balls to do it. You're welcome anytime Carl. The best to you and Kate. Let me know in advance, and I'll put the coffee on. Carl was on the radio this morning and he made a point of saying that his wife Kate will be at the Dover race. It's kind of a big deal because he said Kate hadn't been to a race in a long time. Listen again - he said she hadn't been in a couple of weeks and they were looking forward to bringing home a victory. PS: it was two weeks between her appearances. |

How do you know that "everyone will have their family with them"? I'm calling bullshit on you. Do you even watch NASCAR? There's no bullshit to call. it's just a fact. The Charlotte races are always huge family affairs because that's where most of the families of NASCAR employees live. For the 2 weeks that NASCAR is in Charlotte the raceshops plan tons of company get togethers and local charity fundraisers. If Kate had any interest at all in getting to know the wives/GFs and families of the people her husband works with, going to the Charlotte races would be the best place for her to do that. But once again, it looked like Kate wasn't there. |
