Any deaf dumb and blind person or monkey for that matter could have drove that particular cars to victory. This jackass has done everything possilbe to have his ugly mug shoved down are throats in every race. NASCAR better do something about these ALL waltrip all the time telecasts. It is truly sickening. Why haven't the other team owners banned togther to have him removed from the Fox broadcast.

I agree.  Having Mikey in the booth is like a continuous commercial for MWR and Toyota.  Not to mention that Mikey is annoying, and one Waltrip is more than enough anyway.

If you have a good product and its on TV usually or atleast 99 percent of the time ... ppl respond to it in a positive manner. 4/1/2 - race is a fine example of what should be a kick ass ending coupled with a kick ass out of car ass kicking session. But the drivers once again are all talk and no show. Take a page from the NHL (Pitts/Phila) game and have it out at the end of it all and just dont talk about it. The seats are empty and it doesnt take a brain surgeon to figure out why ...the product is boring and has no personality because it has been stolen by the powers that be!

I always have to shake my head in amazement when I hear Mikey telling NASCAR fans the "right way" to win a race.  How would Mikey know?  Now, since he has the worst "win" record, he's now announcing the races with his big  brother.  Amazing stuff, huh?

Let's not get too sentimental about Mikey's situation.  He is only where he is because of his last name and the fact that DEI gave him a ride during the time when they were the best at "working" the rules on the superspeedways during the early 2000's.  That free ride ended when the COT hit the track five years ago and neither he nor Junior will ever be frontrunners anymore.

I was embarrassed for him after his one-car pileup leaving the pits yesterday showed just how inept he really is.  Look, while most people find "Mikey" entertaining, he is just not (and never has been) a top tier driver.  His tearful, hang dog comments after the race were ridiculous.  He should now face the music and hang up the old firesuit for the last time.

You know, it's kind of funny but even though Boyer is now driving for MWR I think that Clint's comment after the mess Michael made at Bristol a few year ago still holds true...

I agree with the majority of your post.  Mikey won't ever be competitive as a driver, but there's still some hope for Dale Jr.  with Letarte as his cc. 

I remember Bowyer's comment.  What was true in the past is still true.  Time for Mikey to stay out of the car, and just be an owner. 

Self Absorbed A-Hole. I worked with/for him on a project several years ago and he showed his true colors more than once. On a funny side -Ever since then - when ever I see him - all I can think of - Is that he reminds me of what Jethro Bodine would be like if he were gay - next time you see him on TV - think "gay Jethro" (beverly hillbies) !!!
