I feel casey was pushed into racing by the "family" just to keep the Mears name in racing...honestly he has no clue on racing...just party and drinking is on his agenda

He doesnt party and I know he didnt get pushed into racing. He wanted to race on his own. Roger or Carol never pushed him into racing.

The only part you even got remotely correct is the fact Rick and Roger (no d) did drive dump trucks AND worked for their father in his company running backhoes for a living. Rick and Roger (nod) were great race car drivers they inherited from their father! Its a no brainer that Casey inherited the talent for being a great race car driver from his Grandfather, Uncle and Dad! The boy has talent!!

Bobby Rahal gave Casey his first run in an Indy Car years ago at Fontana...at the request of Rodger Penske. He finished 8th as I remember more from attrition than talent. Bobby didn't sign him and I thought wow with the Mears name and not enough talent to impress Bobby this guy must be a dud. When Rodger (who as we all know rode Rick Mears to glory more times than Clinton rode Monica) passed on the Mears name sake there was no question left.....Off to NASCAR to spend years proving Bobby to be right....Rick and Rodger Mears drove dump trucks in Bakersfield maybe Casey should try too!

Let's be real, Scott Speed is an as*hat. However, he does make a valid point. Casey has had more chances and been part of some of the best teams out there and can only eek out ONE win and a bunch of mediocre finishes in all the years he has been driving?

Nascar is NOT for him, never has, never will be. If he is going to race, he needs to be in an Indy car or something on those lines. He has used up the good graces that the last name "Mears" has afforded him in Nascar.

I feel so bad for Brian Vickers.  Brian totally stuck his neck out when he campaigned for Casey to fill-in for him and Casey's Mom repays Brian by bashing his teammate & his team.  Unbelievable.

For you people that think casey sucks. . 1 who the hell are you? 2 casey was more consistant then dale jr. is with more money backing him then casey has ever seen. 3. dales crew chief has been with him for years and nothing. so to say casey sucks isnt fair. not that i think dale sucks. just dont get jealous of his name and looks. :)
