damn give the girl a chance. she impressed me in the ARCA race. i'm no fan of hers but if the media is pushing her i don't have to hear about the 88 over and over. at least she is HOT! that is one FINE ASS! She sucks - she absolutely can not drive with the nascar guys. She's not even that good in open wheel cars. What is it about her - Yeah she is hot. So what? and to think i've worked 9 to 5 all these years and i could have been a race car driver. it's all the car right? if it's all car why do i cheer for a driver? why does it have a driver in it. it can all be done by remote control. they could take off the plates without a driver.

Just watched the shootout... hummm.... 88 team still can't get the car to handle more than a few laps. What gives? The winning driver took no laps in his car, He was sick during practice but won with a car off the trailer. Jr. came in at the end of 25 for the break saying the handling went away after about 15 laps. Don't think he improved in the last 50. His stablemate #5 was running much better as well as 24 and 48. I do not belive that jr. cannot drive a car if it is setup anywhere close to right. If he runs middle of the pack in the 500 next weekend my comments about him driveing the r&d car stand. Let this be a bad season and see where the sponsors stand.

Think about it, if a casual NASCAR fan tunes into a race to watch Dale Jr. perform and he is having one of those days where he rides around the track in 20th place while getting no TV time, which happens more often then not these days That casual fan is turning the NASCAR coverage off, because all they know is the hype surrounding Dale Jr., they think he is the best driver out there and should be laps ahead of the competition when he is running round mid pack they realize they are victims of hype, and they stop watching.

sooner or later all these rockstars are going to get in the way of the racecar drivers. Racecar drivers? I thought it was all about popularity. Maybe the racecar drivers should go and find something else to do and leave the prom queens and prom kings to do their thing. They wouldn't break as much equipment that way and the mindless masses (Loser Nation) could sit in front of their TVs in starry-eyed bliss. |
