I'm not certain about the Childress Earnhardt engine program though. Childress Earnhardt may have gotten Harvick and Bowyer into the Chase but the program has not been even like the Hendrick program.

And let me get this right,, you're saying he brake checked the 18 because the the 00 was loose. Is this what you're saying.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Mon, 08 Nov 2010 23:33:53 GMT reply
You're not making any sense. The 18 has been out of contention because of a blown motor, poor finish at dega, and a double bird flip penalty at Texas . Those are kind of the facts.

Maybe he has finally got a new spotter that is explaining who he is racing on the track and what manufacture they are piloting so he will stay in good graces with Toyota. Also he took the 18 out of the championship at Kansas by retaliation when he was spun out by the 18 in turns 1 & 2 after he brake checked the 18 because his car was way to loose..

Let's see, he pushes then 11 and the 18 to the front at dega so they could both got 5 bonus points. Then checks up in the middle of the draft just so the 11 can get back up in the draft. Then at Texas he let's the 11 catch him so Denny can get the debris of his grill so he can keep his motor from overheating. And saw him move over for both the 11 and the 18 . And how did he take the 18 out of the chase? Did he blow the 18s motor up at California? Or wreck him at dega ? Or wreck him at Texas? Looks like the 18 did all that on his own.

1st he takes 18 Toyota out of sprint cup contention, 2nd pushes chevy and 29 almost to win @ Talledega and now at Texas pulls over and give the 29 a free pass to 2nd spot. Who does this clown really work for???? My guess would be General Motors.

Nobody ever said Reutimann was very smart...........OR could drive................. or had a good hair cut.................. He still looks like Moe on the 3 stooges.

Mark Martin got it right and  backed off and stopped pushing Hamlin to help the 48 pass the 11, Reutiman should have backed off the 29 and helped out another Toyota even if it meant going back to 10th. The only thing he did was help chevy to another manufaturers title and maybe even the sprint cup for the29.

Let's see if he can go for the hat trick at Texas. Maybe he can take out Hamlin and seal the deal for chevy.

He should get in more trouble with Toyota for pushing a chase chevy to the lead and potential championship. He should have backed off the 29 and either got with the 56 his teammate or the 20 or the 11. He should maybe reflect and think of the big picture for Toyota. Maybe he can redeem himself at Texas. Instead of only taking out the 48 like he did last year he can go for the double and include the 29 this year.

I heard he got trouble from Toyota for wrecking Kyle.  So maybe he doesn't understand.

At least Mark Martin sees the big picture and who signs his paycheck. Right at the end Martin was pushing Hamlin car. and ahead of Jimmy by 5 positions. When the come out of turn 4. Martin back off and stops pushing Hamlin, allowing Jimmy to get by him. Chevy teamwork at its best. The 00 should take a lesson.

I hope you realize at Talladega, car mark and team don't even matter. You push whoevers around you and whoever also gets you to go faster. And that's exactly what David did; he pushed whoever was going to help bring him forward.

Is Reutimann's loyalty now to GM rather than TOYOTA? It's not bad enough Chevy wins everything but do they really need David's help pushing them to win and now putting the 29 into championship contention. Maybe GM will invite him to be in the championship photos when they win and send him something nice for Christmas.

Toyota should have a talk with this guy. I am sure after today they are most impressed. 1st he wreck the 18 camray out of the chase, today he is now pushing the 3rd place points chevy to the lead and potential championship lead. If he loves , love, then he better realize what carmaker is paying his large salary. If I was Toyota I'd be calling Michael Waltraip Racing and Mr. 00 to head office for a talk Monday morning. If they like trashing their own brand and helping chevy to the chase title maybe they should go see GM for sponsership. Smarten up Reutimann
