Waltrip should look into getting sponsorship $'s from KY Jelly or something. Do some promo's with lubricants and racing. Mikey can do the ads himself, telling everyone how great the lubricants work and how they never fail him. It will be bigger than NAPA ever was... I better get my commission for this deal

I agree. I would hate to think that I had a race team and with all the violations I knew nothing about what was going on. If all this is going on behind his back then that tells me jawing on TV and making commercials are more important. Like you said, without his brother (doing damage control and making excuses) he would probably be a hair dresser. Waiting until the last of the season when all teams are set for next year to tell Rudy he was fired is just wrong. If a team owner had done Mikey the same way Darrell would have told the world how unprofessional it was. Isn't if funny that Clint Bowyers said WALTRIP IS THE WROST DRIVER IN NASCAR.

Mikey is a jerk.  I'm boycotting all of his sponsors after the way he did David.  Mikey is and always did just rode on his brother's coatails anyway.

It kills me when Mikey is often talking up NASCAR but his team seems to get caught cheating more than anybody else.  Most recently it was illegal windshields, remember a few years ago when Mikey got caught with "rocket fuel" in his Toyota.  Of course Mikey knew nothing of it.  I bet.

After all this time, it was nice that Mikey texted Rudy to tell him he was fired. End of the year when drivers for next year has already been selected. Trux better pay attention!!! If everyone of Mikey's owners fired him for poor performance over the last 28 years, he would have worked for every Nascar team in the last 50 years!!!!

How much DICK did Waltrip suck to get the booth job at Fox?  Nascar is turning into the biggest joke on earth to have this jackass already announcing on Speed and now FOX. Better start sending emails to these networks to get Larry Mac back and to have Waltrip and the other POS Kyle Petty removed from Speed. 2 of the most pathetic mouthpiece on the airwaves. There is are a lot better analysists on the sidelines that can do a better job than these 2 assholes.

It won't and never was a worry about who or how many he would take with him. it's all about keeping in the spotlight. Mikey can't stand not being on stage at any cost. What the outcome will be next week is anyone's guess. One thing for sure, the Chase drivers will be staying away from him like the Plague.
