Drew Gooden's Fan Forum

I really hope Drew signs again with the Spurs!!!  I know that he could start somewhere else, like OKC, or Toronto- but he brought some much-needed offensive punch to my offensively incapacitated San Antonio team!! 

If Mr. Gooden wants a permanent NBA home, S.A. welcomes him.  We all admire his shooting ability as a big man, and he grabs boards like a machine!!

I know Coach Pop is probably tough to work for, but he will make Gooden an elite defender, working as part of a bear-trap defense...  Just look what it did for Stephen Jackson, Beno Udrih & Sean Marks!  Drew's stock can't help but go up in S.A.

Championship?  Still a possibility with a great bench.  I just hope that the ownership has sense-enough to fill the gaps in order to create a bench that can handle any offensive set & put points on the board at the rate that Drew Gooden is capable...

And we need you. 

The team is aging, but you bring strength, shooting touch & youth into the mix  

Have you Gooden haters even seen his stats for 08-09? or ever looked at his career stats? These are great stats for a starting PF / defensive-rebounding specialist.

I'm from NE Ohio and enjoyed watching Drew hustle and do the dirty banging it takes to win games.

I don't know about all this racist shit you wankers are talking about. He plays basketball, he doesn't suck, he's not an all star or dominator, but he's a solid role player, defending, scrapping, and rebounding and putting up some strong scoring on occasion.

WHY didn't the Cavs get this guy back? Watching them now play the Suns after watching the last couple minutes of THE SPURS game and Saw GOODEN on the sideline. Good for the Spurs. He will help them immensely. If I were Gooden, I'd look to finish out my career there.

I watched Drew alot when he was with the cavs, he was the trash man on the team does all the dirty work that never shows up on stats....I think hes perfect for the spurs.
