He's a young player who's body isn't ready to take the daily beating of the NBA. This is his 2nd major injury that will require him to miss a substantial amount of time. From what I've seen of him, he's going to be like an Adonal Foyle that can score a bit more consistantly. He has 0 post game, a few basic moves (up and under, baby hook), he is'nt strong enough to muscle people around, he has a weak frame and poor footwork. Most of his points are made off of dribble penetration and dishing it off to the open big man when the D comes over to help, and an occational offensive rebound put back. I dont see this guy, even healthy, being a major impact player like the hype made him out to be. He has so much work to do and he needs ALOT of time to develop, being injured will prolong his progress. You can add Oden to the long list of big man busts, just another guy with size that has no business being on the court.

oden is terrible. seriously terrible. you cant even use the hes young excuse anymore. 3 years in the league and its like hes still a rookie. plus, he cant compete with bynum, gasol, boozer, yao, or any others. hes just average, not a super star like everyone thinks
