lebron is the best player in the league hands down. kobe got more experience under his belt and a supporting cast that he can depend on.. LeBron couldn't depend on his teammates because they were not consitance in the play-offs. Mo Williams would catch fire one game and then the next couldn't buy a shot. Plus you cant really compare them 2 because they play different positions |

Lebron James lacks maturity of thought. Lebron believes that you can not trust teammates who will not confess how they live their lives; who they love, what type of person they are attracted to, maybe even their beliefs. I get the simplicity of his thinking, but he fails to see the gray. He shows his thinking to be full of immaturity; all-or-nothing thinking, jumping to conclusion, red herring, and other silly reasoning is expressed out of his mouth. He is arguable the greatest player of the game, but he is nowhere near being a great leader of an NBA team, as great leaders can't be fools. LeBron was arrogant before the first tip-off. His antics belong on the Globetrotters, not in the NBA. I'll be the first to admit that he's probably the best player right now, but that doesn't excuse him from conducting himself with dignity and class. His lack of sportsmanship and efforts to downplay potential embarrassments serve as bad examples to the children who idolize him. You can say that he never chose to be a role model, but he did choose to be in the public eye. Until he keeps up his improvements on D and actually wins a few title, he'll never be as good as Jumpman, let alone mentioned in the same breath as him. |
