I really hope Drew signs again with the Spurs!!! I know that he could start somewhere else, like OKC, or Toronto- but he brought some much-needed offensive punch to my offensively incapacitated San Antonio team!!

If Mr. Gooden wants a permanent NBA home, S.A. welcomes him. We all admire his shooting ability as a big man, and he grabs boards like a machine!!

I know Coach Pop is probably tough to work for, but he will make Gooden an elite defender, working as part of a bear-trap defense... Just look what it did for Stephen Jackson, Beno Udrih & Sean Marks! Drew's stock can't help but go up in S.A.

Championship? Still a possibility with a great bench. I just hope that the ownership has sense-enough to fill the gaps in order to create a bench that can handle any offensive set & put points on the board at the rate that Drew Gooden is capable...

Drew posted 17 tonight against the Pacers! An all-time Gooden-San Antonio Spur high... Man, I am glad to have such an offensive talent bangin' in the paint with Timmy & Kurt Thomas! And Drew grabs some boards, too! He's averaging 6 per game right now. He's got Playoff experience, a great free-throw percentage- I just wish Coach Pop would unleash him more often! But here in Central/South Texas, in Pop we trust. He knows best. Go Gooden! Go Spurs!

I'm from NE Ohio and enjoyed watching Drew hustle and do the dirty banging it takes to win games.

I don't know about all this racist shit you wankers are talking about. He plays basketball, he doesn't suck, he's not an all star or dominator, but he's a solid role player, defending, scrapping, and rebounding and putting up some strong scoring on occasion.

WHY didn't the Cavs get this guy back? Watching them now play the Suns after watching the last couple minutes of THE SPURS game and Saw GOODEN on the sideline. Good for the Spurs. He will help them immensely. If I were Gooden, I'd look to finish out my career there.
