Delfino has been averaging 25-30 mins.
If you put Primoz, Johnson, Kapono, Hump, Joey out there for that long i can GUARANTEE you that they will not be able to shoot as well as Delfino. The thing is they never play that long so you cant see it. Dont you think that Sam puts Carlos out there because he can depend on him and knows he will drive if need be and get to the free throw line., he hasnt been shooting as many 3s lately.
Anyways, you cant say that someone coming in for 5 mins and shooting 50 percent is better then someone playing 30 mins and shooting 40 percent. they are out there more, so they will shoot more and get tired more easily and will not shoot as well. Clearly you have never played basketball and I have my whole life so I can actually appreciate what Delfino brings to the team.

im sorry but you cant compare Delfino shooting 37 percent to Johnson shooting liek 50 percent. You can only compare people who play the same amount of minutes. If Primoz goes out and shoots one shot and gets it in after playing only 2 minutes in a game then you are telling me he is better because he shot 100%?

April 2nd he shot 3/7 and 0/3 and 1/1
March 30 he shot 7/13 and 3/8 and 1/1
March 28 he shot 3/8 and 2/5 and 1/2
March 26 he shot 4/8 and 2/4

If those numbers arent close to 50% then i dont know what is. I said Lately, which doesnt mean the past month, it means a few weeks. Bottom line is he has been consistent lately going into the playoffs.
Dont forget, he has 3 years of playoff experience from being in Detroit. The only other players are Rasho and Kapono who have any experience past 1st round (and they have championships). So once playoffs come he has a lot of knowledge and maturity and will be able to deal with it.

Carlos is shooting 40 % FG this season- the second worst on the team. Bosh shoots 49% and Jose 53%. The only Raptor worse than Delfino is Andrea at 39%. Even all those scrubs you listed- Johnson Brezec, Graham, they all shoot a higher % FG's than Delfino. You can't call his offense consistent by any stretch of the imagination.

You claimed he is shooting about 50% lately, but you could not be more wrong. For the month of March, Carlos shot 37.6% from the field and 28% from the three-point line.

Delfino is a bench player because he is not consistent. Yes, he is playing more consistent than Kapono, but that is not saying much. I have higher standards than you seem to for what is considered consistent play in the NBA.. Ask any NBA expert and they will agree with me- Carlos Delfino is not and has never been a consistent player in the NBA. Consistent is what you call Anthony Parker and Rasho Nesterovic- not Carlos Delfino. Sorry to burst your bubble.

i have no idea why kapono is playing bad..all i know is that delfino is our go-to guy on the bench. and my opinion is not biased just because i have a "crush", as you say, on him.

I agree off the bench he is consitant and I don't understand why Mitchel started Kapono on Monday he should have given that oppertunity to Delfino but if you look at the overall team AP is the most consistant!

U cant deny that im sorry. Now that Jose is back, yea, Jose and Delfino work well together. Im not saying he is the most consistent rap, obviousyl rasho and CB and AP are, but he is from the bench. Kapoono is pure fuckin garbage, i just want to punch him. Hump is on and off. Maceo, Joey, Linton, Primoz,Bargs havent been too productive lately.
Delfinos mere presence on the court is enough to stop the other team from being productive.
So when he plays 30 mins and gets only 8 points or sumthing, he still has steals, rebounds, assists and just a huge body to stop people.
Dont forget, he sometimes plays the PG position and that stops him from getting his own shots. And Bargs, Jose and Bosh all miss just as many shots as he does. He has been shooting close to 50% lately so get off his case

with the exception of the recent western road trip i would say Delfino has been consistent.
Just cuz I have a "crush" (im not in grade 6, im 21 so I wouldn't use that word) on him doesnt mean I dont know Basketball. I have played and watched basetkball since I was 12, So get that straight.
All I am saying is when you need defense from the bench you go to... DELFINO!
If you need some aggression to the basket you go to .....DELFINO!
Lately if you need a 3 point shot u go to Delfino, Kapono has become a pretty little fixture on the bench. I love Hump off the bench when he is aggressive getting rebounds and driving but he is big and a bit slow. Delfino doesnt even look like he is 6'6, he looks like he is only 6 feet the way he is so quick, but he is a tank.
Im sorry but you cant say Delfino isnt our most consistent bench player. With the exception of Jose coming back to the bench of course but he is still a starter in my heart. I think Delfino and Jose make a great pair when they are playing together; Bosh and Rasho have been off the charts lately, and AP has let a few games slide recently, only getting like 6 points, but Delfino usually gets at least 10. His mere presensce on Defense is amazing as well. Just because he doesnt score 20 points every night doesnt mean he isnt productive. When he plays 30 mins and gets 8 points, he has still gotten rebounds, steals, assists and has prevented the other team from getting good looks. So there is my rant

I love Delfino but he is not a consistant player! He is a good defender however he takes poor shots!!! AP as I said before is the most consistant player on the Raptors even more consistant than CB4!
