watched the game. . . expected that bs was coming, especially after Tony Kronheiser (PTI- ESPN) called out David Stern for not suspending DWest once he was indicted. . . it'll probably be worse tonite since ESPN is covering the game in NY. He held his own on defense, i'd like to see him more aggressive on offense. . . might be hard to do with the two slowest dudes in the nba cloggin the middle (Shaq & Z). . . weird seeing him in a game without the headband. |

He looked pretty good last night, did you see the national TV station had to blabber all of his business with the camera dead in his face. Irritating. |

cant speak for anybody else, but ima little suspect about the dv incident. that sounded like she had her feelings hurt during their argument and wanted to get back at him, i could be wrong though. so far he hasnt been formally charged so i guess we just have to wait and see |

Let's see, four months of marriage and we have gun charges and domestic violence. I don't know what this poor chick should do. Actually, yes I do, but my heart aches for Delonte. |

taking meds is important, but getting therapy is crucial because thats where he will learn to identify what triggers his anger and also where he will learn what coping skill(s) will work best for him. im just glad the coach was alert enough to see that he was getting upset and pulled him from the game before something bad happened. . . he cant afford anymore episodes before he goes to court later this month. the team seems to have a good understanding of whats going on with Delonte and are doing what they can to help him get through all of this. anyone know if Kimmy is really back? |

There was another matter that was happening below the surface, though. In the third quarter, Delonte West became angry about a non-call and spent the next several possessions arguing with the officials. Then he committed a hard foul on Mike Miller and glared at the official. Mike Brown instantly took him out of the game and never brought him back, though it made it easier because Daniel Gibson was playing well. In the first game, Delonte was hit with a technical foul. On top of his bipolar disorder, West has anger management issues. He's had trouble with officials in the past. Two games in, he is obviously teetering. . . But the anger issues with West are real and another thing for the Cavs to manage. He's a valuable player but he's got a full plate and today and tonight were just another reminder of it. And another reminder of why it is perhaps not prudent to count on him being there. http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2009/11/windhorst_beat_blog_cavs_vs_wi_2.html |
