I think Luke Walton gets a bad rap because he doesn't get enough minutes in.  I'm confident next season he'll play a more active role in the offense and show what a force he can be.  I wear my "Walton" jersey every time I watch the Lakers... that's not gay, right?

Puke Walton is definitely the worst Laker player and yet Phil Jackson seems to always let him start the 2nd. qtr and play so many minutes. Why? Can anyone tell me? He should let Bynum play more minutes and teach him not to foul. He did not used to do that before.

luke walton always tries to make an extra pass that actually messes the fast break up more than it helps.  I guess it's good he would rather kick it out than take a wide open lay up because he would miss it anyways though.

Blame the Alzeheimer Coach, Phil for that.  He forgets and put him on the court, then after 2 min, he realizes it was a fuc- up and pulls him out.  What for a total of a 1million dollar salary of messing up, I think we all should of tried out for basketball.

What 1million dollar salary are you talking about? Phil Jackson makes 10 million a year and Puke Walton makes a little over 5 million a year. Look it up in Hoopshype.com basketball players salaries.

Jordan Farmar who is a lot better makes a little over 1 million a year. That is a dirty shame. Shannon Brown who has been playing great makes even less.

Luke is just terrible. I do not see why Phil Jackson even uses him in a game, especially to start a quarter.

Perhaps the Lakers should get rid of both of them at the end of the season, no matter if the Lakers win the championship. Phil refused to sign a contract for more than a year. I am so glad for that. Now Laker managment has good reason to get rid of him, too.

Luke Walton kills the Lakers momentum every time he enters the game.  He has no offensive skills and his defense is like a crippled man playing with his legs tied together.

He is not good enough to guard Brooks; or is he too old to play anymore?  Bynum 0 pts, but only played 19 mins. Why? Let him play his game and he will score big. Luke Walton a starter in 3rd qtr. and 0pts for 15.50 mins.??? , 4pts prev. game??? Trade him and Lamar Odom. Both so unreliable. Hey Girlie Man Gasol, put some body into the game, use the dunk rather than the hook, and use both hands to dunk and rebound. You are capable of 20 pts per game. Give Kobe some needed help. Phil Jackson needs to retire when he knows that he should not use Luke Walton as a starter in any quarter, and even worse to not call a timeout and the Lakers are doing so badly.
