Ramon Sessions

I'm retired and have been working on my family tree for years.  I discovered several years age that my mother's ancesters had slaves in Georgia. They were neigbors with the Sessions family.  I volunteer at a senior center and met an african american woman, Mildred Session, years ago she asked me to research he famiily tree.  What I discovered was amazing. In 1860 a Georgia census listed the father of this household as Richard Sessions, white, male, and wife as mullato and their children as mullato. This man's grnadfather was Richard Sessions who married Unity Miriah Bankston in Southern Illinois which was the location of my mother's birth and ancestry.  As I explored the records, I realized this was an arranged mariage by both families in order to keep property in local families in the South.  I know you were born in Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina, and I would like to persue doing your family tree. I'm not concerned about money for what I do, and there is no no way I would harm your reputation.  Mildred is going to have a Sessions reunion later this year in which I'm invited. I am white and Mildred is black.  We have been good friends for years and call each other cousins.  Sometimes we get a few people to turn their heads, but we have a geat friendship. Let me know if you would like for me to follow-up and see where your ancestry is linked. I stayed at the Hilton Garden in back in March and upon checkout I was getting in my White Bentley and he walked out of the hotel with a girl..
