Bosh is a chichi man. Him sof...Howard is manhandling him on the boards and in the paint. Bosh could have drove to the bucket last night to win the game. But instead chooses to shoot a 20 footer. Calls out his teamates for not being aggressive, yet he pulls up for a lame jumper at the end of the game. De bwoy sof no rass...we need a Oakley type guy to toughen im up! |

Chris bosh is the man, he is our leader and he is the face of that franchis! He has been playing amazing ALL season and is carying this team on his back to the playoffs. He IS the reason they are there. im not saying that he is the only good player there because he is not, everyone on that team has talent! And a perfect example, when chris bosh was out of the lineup with his knee injury, the team was on a road trip and lost like what, 4 outta the 5. And when he came back, they really picked it up! And that just goes to show the HUGE impact he has on that ball club! |

Look I think Bosh is an incredibly gifted offensive player, however, I don't think he has the fitness yet, ie at the peek of his physical conditioning to perform like Kevin Garnett type impact player he aspires to be. I find his defensive efforts to be soft at times and he often gets beat one on one unless he chooses to show physical resilience . I find any player's game overall is only as good as his defensive effort on a consistent basis. |

to those who say he isn't an all-star, either you don't know basketball or your a bosh hater, etc. not only is he an all-star, he is one of the TOP players in the nba. if you don't think so, tell me, what does make a player an all-star? the fact that he averages practically a double-double, the fact that he has an efficiency of 25, the fact that he leads the raptors (one the best teams in the east), in points, rebounds, even the top 4 in steals, 2nd in blocks, 3rd in assists (next to TJ and CALDERON!). and that's just on paper! in terms of skill, talent, potential, speed, power, well-roundedness, the fact that he basically carries the raptors on his shoulders, his consistency, he is above all-star (which is why he has been a starting all-star in the last two years), he is right up there, one of the top 20 players in the NBA on paper or talent wise, don't believe me, look at this http://www.nba.com/features/player_rankings.html need i say more, cause i will and can? |

you guys do know this guy is basically carrying toronto on his back, right? how can u say that a guy who puts up 40 points up on dwight howard, has had 4 or five 40 point games this season, runs the toronto defense (its not his fault we have a bunch of soft european who can't play D or get boards!). this guy has a monster first step, has some many post moves, is such a creative player on offense with the fadeaway shots and mid-range jumper can drive it and dunk on the best defensive players, has a field goal percentage of around .500, has the ability to shoot the three (i'm not saying he's too good at it, but he can, he just needs to try it more often and gain confidence, you all know it). and on defense he leads the raptors with nine boards, he also averages a steal per game, he has over 1 block a game, doesn't turn over the ball much, plays less minutes than most all-stars! ya'll know he averages about 23 points a game for heaven's sake, right!?! this guy is a leader, the nucleus of the raptors, we need big men to back him up, see everyone expects this guy to do EVERYTHING, i mean it's him and j. moon on defense, i mean our starting center (bargnani) averages about 3 boards a game! this guy needs a good supporting cast, and he is third on the raptors in assists per game even! i mean sure, bosh has a few problems like he is not aggresive enough sometimes, he just settles for the foul rather than the three point play SOMETIMES (a lot of the time he has sick and ones), but when he's playing guys smaller than himself, he goes to the post and kills them, and on bigger guys he either blasts past them with his speed and mobility or takes the fadeaway or the midrange jumper, all that combined makes this guy a nightmare on the defensive end for the other team, much like kevin garnett (which he is often compared to, i'm not sayin he is as good as garnett so don't go crazy), except he is faster than garnett, has a better shot, but isn't as good in the low post or as aggresive, but remeber, this kid is just 23 and already one of the best PF in this league, for those of you who say otherwise, look at his numbers, go to nba.com, his efficiency is 25! and just look at his talent, skill, consistency, sportsmanship, leadership, power, potential and than come and tell me that he should be in the D-league. This is the guy that is carrying one of the best teams in the east on his shoulders (calderon, and moon help, but only so much), this is the guy who is ranked in 13th for the MVP award. |

He doesn't suck, but he's no all-star either. He's got a sweet shot from the 12-16 foot range, and he's got some decent low-post moves, but he always seems to be looking for a foul instead of just going up strong. When he's up against a team with well-coached bigs, he usually gets stuffed or stripped down low. His high-post game is pretty much non-existent the few times I've seen him play out of position at PF (with Rasho at C). He basically gets the ball, twists around a bit, then kicks it out to a guard. He's too lanky to blow by anyone from the high post, although he sometimes gets a good fadeaway jumper working from there. Overall, I would describe Bosh as a finesse player who crumbles under pressure when challenged by big defenders. |
