Derek Fisher Sucks Forum

Fisher is a below average PG, he should be coming off the bench not starting.

Both Andrew Goudelock and Steve Blake should get more minuts than Fisher, they're younger, they're faster, and they actually bring something to the team.

Last season Derek averaged 3 Assists per game and under 7 points per game, he shouldn't be starting for the Lakers. He's hurting the team by not knowing when to step down.

I have a feeling that Shannon Brown left the Lakers because he knew he'd never get to develop as a player if Laker management never gave him the starting PG position, he'd always come off the bench for a player who was worst than him.

I think that is just terrible to have some goofy woman like that Laureen character that posted the feces pictures.  I understand  she lives at 32302 Alipaz St, Spc 295 San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675-4166 and her phone is 949) 661-6625. Fisher is too old and too slow to defend any of the starting point guards in the league.  Lakers signed Steve Blake for 4 years with a payroll of $4 million each year.  If you invested that much money, use him.  If anything, Blake should start and the veteran Fisher should come off the bench and help the secondary squad with his "leadership".

People take about how Fisher can make big shot and win games for the Lakers.. please... if he actually was able to defend and not give up big points/plays to the other team, Lakers wouldn't be down in points and be in a position to having to make the last basket to win the game.

Derek Fisher contributes nothing to the lakers. All he does is flops, make sure Kobe is happy, and play dirty. He plays dirty defense, but he complains to the refs when it's done to him. When people are running back on offense or defense, he'll purposely stand in their way to draw an offensive foul. This isn't basketball, it is being a sucky, dirty player. Fisher sucks.

I like Fish as a person but he does suck.  I dont understand why Phil wont let him be the back up point gard.  Ron A sucks also.  He is scared to take the 3 now. And in the open court with the ball he is lost.   If his job is to play defence then be the best rebounder and foul hard so Boston feels the pain the next day.  I am begining to think that Phil is just lucky to have great players on his team.

i met derek fisher in phx and he was such a nice guy.. he is a great asset to the lakers, and a real clutch player. don't  know how anyone can see he has no skills
