Ron Artest Trade Fallout, Okafor and Deng Get Rich, and Channing Frye is the new Gilbert Arenas By Dime Magazine Ron Artest, Dime #21 The Rockets have been like the Cavs of the West for the last couple of years; maybe they were busting their asses behind the scenes, but on the surface the franchise seemed content with making run after fruitless run with their big-name superstar(s) —

And by yours I mean the condo complex you sneak into every weekend because the girls are better looking than the apartment where you live. Meanwhile Agent Zero is constructing his own Xanadu replete with mountain and three acquariums. D.C. Sports Bog brings us the further details on the pool. Its been a rather busy summer in the NBA: Extensions, trades, free agent signings, a few defections, and one notable overseas departure. And although guys like Kwame Brown and Randolph Morris are still looking in vain (and abject terror) for a new home, heres a semi-exhaustive list of the major, minor and (in some cases) meaningless player movement that has ocurred so far. Andrew Bogut: Prepare to be filled with hatred for a world that rewards men for simply growing to a height of at least

Many teams have added new players to the roster since the start of July and with most of the big moves done with it is time to see how they influenced the oddsmakers. The top two favorites are still the same as last time except now the Celtics and Lakers are tied at +300 to win it all instead of L.A. being the outright fave of +250. Here are the teams that had the biggest rise in odds since th

Only four players averaged more than 29 points per game last season, as Gilbert Arenas found himself in an exclusive club with Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson and LeBron James. Arenas has been steadily improving his game since his debut with Golden State in 2001 - increasing his scoring average every season from 10.3 as a rookie to 29.3 in 2005-06. Although Arenas hit more three-point shots than all but one other player last season, he isn't your typical "mad bomber," as he averaged more than six assists and two steals per game. He followed up his sensational season with an even better playoff run, pouring in 34 points per game and leading the Wizards to a near-upset of the Cavaliers in the first round.
