Basketball is a TEAM sport. Every TEAM needs ROLE PLAYERS. Marcus is absolutely an above average team player who can fill a ROLE on a championship team. Besides that, his D is awesome! What don't some people see? If I was building a team through an expansion draft, Camby would make my short list. He is a baller.

Marcus Camby is highly overrated, because of his highly deceiving numbers. Yes, Camby averages 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks, but when you actually see him play, you realize that he's a bench player, not a starter. First of all, he is a playoff choke artist. Pau Gasol treated him like he was a toothpick, in the low post and completely destroyed him to the point where Denver traded him for a second round pick. Secondly, he has poor shot selection. Despite being a below average shooter, he always settles for 15 footers. He has a slim frame that makes it easy for him to get scored on. He averages 2 blocks, because he can block point guards. However, you will never see him block a player that's above 6'5.

i think that marcus camby is the best but carmelo anthony and allen iverson and kenyon martin all of them is the best but althouht i love all of them but i love marcus camby more tho
marcus you are the best defender

why do you even keep marcus camby.  he's terrible, all he does is try to shoot his jumpers where he's like 10%, he's a terrible free throw shooter, he never dunks it down with authority, he airballs jumpers in the playoffs, he has blocks is one thing, but he doesn't even have good rebounding numbers for a big man.  he does this terrible underhook shot.
