I know Steph has not been playing to the best of his abilities over the past couple of seasons with the NY, however he is still the most valuable component the Knicks have, yet alone the trouble to the problem. The Knicks do have a better winning percentage with Stephon Marbury playing, and when allowed has put up constructive numbers during his tenure with the Knicks. When he first arrived in NY, he helped us get into the 1st round of the playoffs in which we stood no chance against a Kidd led New Jersey squad. Much of his production has been limited do to the fact of the Isaiah Thomas story, Nolan's game playing, and "fake all-stars" in the ball hogs of Crawford and Curry who should be traded. 3 seasons back when Richardson 1st came to the team, without Crawford, Marbury was able to play to full capacity and almost secured the 8th spot in the playoffs until Richardson's injury. The problem is that Marbury is not given enough time to work with the ball due to terrible team chemistry and lack of defense. Until D'Antoni, Crawford, or Curry are scrapped or put in check, the Knicks will suffer, just wait and see. Marbury is not the best point guard any more, but unless we start him or trade him for a valuable conponent, the Knicks have no prayer. |

Duhon's in. Drag your ass, Steph, and carry as many pairs of Starburys as you can with you. |

Stephon Marbury has career averages of 19.7 points and 7.8 assists. He is a 2-time All Star, and he was part of the 2004 USA team. His main criticisms are that he has never made it out of the first round of playoffs, and that every team he plays for gets better when he leaves. Though these criticisms have some truth to them, they do not tell the entire story, as the Timberwolves took 5 years to advance past the first round of the playoffs, after Marbury left, and the Knicks are 17-41, in games where Marbury did not play, this season, 2-6 in games Marbury missed in the 2006-2007 season, and 3-19 in game games Marbury missed in the 2005-2006 season. The Knicks have a combined record of 22-66(.250), in games where Marbury was out with an injury, in the last 3 seasons. The Knicks are 82-110(.427), in games where Marbury did play, since coming to the Knicks. |

The only real player on the Knicks that plays his position. A great talent. Sorry you haters are blind. Isiah took the ball out of his hands. He should be our leading scorer and star. |
