Bonnie Bernstein below?? hmmmmm Brock is great person but he's somewhat out there, he's got such a zest and passion for winning that I think it drives a lot of people crazy and he's misunderstood. He's also all over the map in his personal life, if you take 10 different people that know him well and ask them about Brock, you will get 10 totally different answers and opinions. I know him and love him to death, he's so sexy and smart and athletic, all that and more, but Brock does not let women get very close to him, he's paranoid and aloof with women and extremely narcissistic!! |

I'm a fairly well-known sports journalist (and female) who has covered major events for ESPN and CBS for years. I would like to share something with you all; in the midst of Brock on the brink of his pro career and on the eve of Glory Road (film he held a bit part in) being released, I came to cover Brock in a press conference scheduled for about a dozen media members. This had been a tough week for me because my mother passed away just days prior. As I arrived on this day, Brock grabbed me aside and told me how sorry he was to hear about my mother and that my family would be in his thoughts and prayers. And when I arrived back to my office that afternoon was a giant package of flowers sent from Brock with a very nice note. This told me all I needed to know about Brock Gillespie as a person. He is an amazing man and we remain close to this day.
