KURT LOOBY have signed a contract with basketball team the EnBW Ludwigsburg of Germany for the 2011-2012 season. Kurt Looby is a defense and rebound specialist big man that played for DASH Peristeri GS of Greece last season.

With the NBA in a CBA lockout. Kurt Looby has sign a contract with the EnBW Ludwigsburg team BBL league. Looby finish his 2010-2011 season in Greece with the DASH Peristeri with 6.5 PPG.,7.0 RPG., and 1.1 BPG. for a 28 game season. Much success to Kurt Looby.

Kurt Looby of the NBA D-League will be taking his talent and skills on a tour of duty in Europe. Looby inked a contract with Dash Peristeri GS Athens, Greece. Looby played 2 years in the NBA D-league were he set two D-league blocked shot records. One triple-double for each season and played for three different teams this past season. Last wavied by Denver Nuggets of the NBA were he tour with Nuggets in Taiwan and China in pre-season games. Best of luck to Kurt Looby the Man!!!

Kurt Looby signs with Greece European Team

Kurt will be taking his skills and talent to Euro team the Peristeri of Greece this season. This will be his first year overseas in Europe. The NBA/D-League Maine Redclaw sensation will meet the challenge and show the NBA that he means business. Looby played on three teams last season after asking for a trade from the Rio Grande Valley "Vipers" to Albuquerque "Thunderbirds" of the D-League for limited time on court. Kurt's defense has been outstanding through it all. Looby was awarded with All D-League Honorable mention for 2009 season as a rookie.

Kurt Looby of the NBA-D League Maine Red Claws finish the season with a average of 5.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.1 blocked shots. Looby set a new NBA/D League record  block shots of 166 for the season. Record his second triple-double in the league and came close to Defensed player of the year. Looby is in Puerto Rico played for Mets de Guaynabo in the BSN league were he was last season block-shot leader.

Kurt Looby finsh his season as the NBA/D League leading blocks shot with the Portland Maine Red Claws setting a new record at 166 blocks for the season. Looby in his second season as a professional with averages of 7.9 rebounds, 5.6 points, 3.3 blocks, and 29 steals. Congrulation to KURT LOOBY the MAN!!

The new Maine Red Claws center Kurt Looby of the NBA/D League is with his third team for this season. The team have only 12 games left on the schedule. Looby is approched 50 games played and leading in Block shots and above average rebounding for center position.

Since Kurt Looby arriver to D-League team Albuquerque Thunderbirds, they have moved to third place behind the Rio Granda "Vipers" in the West Conference and won 6 straight games. Looby record his second triple-double in the D-League.

Albuquerque Thunderbirds D-League team Kurt "Loooby" made a triple-double against the Dakota Wizards team for 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 block shots as his second career triple-double in the D-League.

On December 30, "Looby" has been trading from the Rio Granda Valley "Vipers" to Albuquerque"Thunderbirds" team. Kurt time on the court were limited due to Houston Rockets player Joey Dorsey at the 5 position. The Houston Rockets runs the Vipers head office and "Looby" had no chance of increase time on court. "Looby" is ready to help the "Thundersbirds" in the paint.!!!

Looby summer league, and training camp at Houston Rockets, Portland Trailblazer, and Denver Nuggets came to a end when he was wavied yesterday. Kurt Looby is still ready for the next level. Coach made statement that in one month he made much improvement in camp.

D-League Select Kurt Looby played a decent game against Portland Trailblazer's with 3-5 shooting for 7 points, 5 rebounds, two block shots in 18 minutes off the bench and a great defensive inbound play that won the game with 1.5 seconds left in game.

Looby is back in the caribbean on the island of Puerto Rico player in the BSN League until July. His home island of Antigua is very near Puerto Rico.
