Harris gets lit up regularly, and most elite receivers are going to burn him. Not sure who would consider him a shut-down corner. Take the hype away and he is an above average player whom you don't want on the other team's best receiver.

I have been watching Al Harris for his entire career. He is hands down the worst cornerback in the league. Other teams know they can light him up any time. Just watch him play and you'll know how bad he is.

I don't know so much that he sucks. My problem is with people who label him a shutdown corner. He is not. Woodson is. Al harris is a route jumper. Seems to me that is all he does. He is rewarded occasionally with a pick. However all too often he mis-times the jump and is burned for a score. I don't think he sucks, but I dont think he is anywhere near worthy of his hype.

holy crap, you are like my new best friend, poster below!! this is what i've been saying for like ever because everyone's been hating on him.....when games go bad, people just look for someone to blame, and so they usually go after al. you said it alot better than i could in your post, so thanx for stating the truth around here. Everyone is picking on one game against the Giants last year. Every NFL player has bad games. Guys like Marino and Favre and Payton have had bad games but you have to look at their overall body of work. Not be a douche and look at one game. Adrian Peterson got shut down in a few game last year-i guess he stinks. The Packers owned Champ Baily last year-i guess he stinks. Let go of the hate-use your heads.

I don't think anyone in this room knows a thing about football. Al harris is good. Listen to Deon Sanders or T.O. or Roy Williams. These guys play the game and know more than us and think he is great. He made the pro bowl last year for gods sake! You all are dingleberries-i'm out.

This is a great thread, he's a chump...i can't believe he made the pro bowl....not too mention, start....He couldn't wash Terence Newman's jock....Al Harris is a clown....him and that DeAngelo Hall character suck
