I heard Brett is only out for himself cuz he needs the money....(ha ha)....he only has a gazillion dollars so far......there is a teensy weensy possibility that Brett might just be in it for "the love of the game" instead....lets face it....who needs an ego when your sitting on a pile of money and might make it to the superbowl (again) and may even make MVP to boot then retire and sit around all day counting his gazillions of dollars.....it seems reasonable that having your torn bicep muscle repaired and doing what you do best, like throwing a freakin football like a cannon shot into the chest of a receiver at full gallup and 40 yards away in the last two feet of an end zone and spanking Green Bay not once but twice! is a helluva lot more exciting than doing a Sears or Wrangler's commercial. Go Brett Go! |

How can anyone NOT be a Favre fan? I love to watch him, he sure knows how to lead his team to victory with style, or take a loss with honor! He is the greatest and the platform that all should aim for! GO! BRETT! GO! The nickname that i like- Maul of America! |

Did you mean that Brett is only out for himself or the Packers were only out for themselves. Seems to me the Packers thought they would be better off going with youth and so they disregarded any loyalty to Brett for his many years of service to them. This was a serious miscalculation by the Packers as we have seen Brett is still an outstanding qb and has his team 8-1 while the Pack is 5-4. Not only was this a stupid decision---it was also immoral. |

We will learn more about the Pack's "investment" after the Cowboys get through with te Pack on Sunday! Hope Mr. "I wanna hold on to the ball as long as possible" survives. |

We'll see if the gunslinger has the energy to go the distance. Not likely. And can you blame the Pack for wanting to invest in their future after two decades? Brett's only out for himself, not the franchise he plays for. Sure, he's having a good season, but even Culter would look good behind that line plus having AP to hand the ball off to 20 times per game. |

Wow....Brett Favre's name being mentioned with the likes of Peyton Manning and Drew Brees for MVP......and to think Brett was sitting on his tractor in Hattiesburg, MS just three months ago, just mowing his lawn. |

Dear Anonymous Rookie Did you ever notice that Favre never had 70 sacks in a single season like Karen Peterson is on his way to accomplishing?? |

Wow.....News Flash.....Brett Favre likely to be MVP! Obviously nobody involved in the MVP Process checked with any of the all knowing Brett Favre Haters first before making this projection! What's up with that? |

Let me define traitor for you. A team that turns its back on a player who had an outstanding performance with them for nearly two decades, so they could try to start fresh with some young blood. Remember- the pack left Brett. He didn't leave them. Get your emotions in check and look at the facts. |

Dear Anonymous Rookie, Did you ever watch Favre in his early years? He couldn't throw the ball away to save his life!! Aaron's going through "growing pains", just as the traitor did. |

Lord Favre kicked Karen's ASS... then he kicked Karen's ass AGAIN. When will these delusional Packer fans realize that Brett is 20 million times better than Aaron Peterson (as WI governor Jim Doyle called him when asked about him) Favre was sacked ZERO times. Karen Peterson was sacked FOURTEEN times... I seriously think Karen needs to learn how to get rid of the ball faster. Favre is also better because he has an uncountable amount of records... The only two records that Karen Peterson will get during his entire career are the record for the most sacks taken in a season... and the record for the most career sacks taken. #28+#12+#4 = SUPERBOWL 44!!!! :D |

The Brett haters have at least come to reality to some degree. Now they acknowledge Brett will be in the playoffs but are trying to downplay how well the Vikes will do. Brett's the man, get onboard before the ship sails. |

Brett Favre (the old man) is making his millions upon millions of dollars and smiling ALL the way to the bank (and the Hall of Fame) and getting free Wrangler Jeans and TV's too and with that same twinkle in his eye when he was booed coming onto Lambeau field yesterday and just before he "spanked" the Packers AGAIN and this time sent the fans "packing" as well.......ouch! |

Dear Favre:
Rot in Hell you F**ing A-Hole, nobody in Minnesota will love you when you retire again after loosing in the first round of the playoffs. Only to re-emerge from retirement in August as an even bigger douche bag. I'm sure you can find a nice home with the run down and washed out in Detroit. |

uh....aren't the Vikings 7 and 1? and isn't Brett Favre their QB?........uh.....hello....anybody out there or are the lights on and nobody's home?.....and haven't the packers been "spanked" twice already and Aaron Rodgers sacked at least a dozen ties in both games? What's up with that? I know.....let's all wear cheesehead hats and boo Brett......that'll do it!! |

Packers just grow up and stop being sore loosers. Have you all ever just sat and thought for awhile that Farve only did it to be anice guy so that you all would get rid of him!!!!!!And make you the Packers think he really sucked when in reality he has=d it all planned out to leave the stinky cheese Packers to roll with the real big dogs. |

Vikings with the great Brett will win the Super Bowl this year. You can take that to the bank. |

I can't believe what that he basically said the Superbowl 31 winnig team was nothing compared the the Vikings now. Come on now. Vikings aren't going to win the Superbowl this season and that team did. And Greenbay nation you should realize something, Favre is no longer your QB Rodgers is. A true fan would stick by their team and QB no matter what. |
