It is not true that kevin williams or pat williams use steroids. Both have been in the league for a very long time now and have never flunked a drug test. What happened is that they took an over the counter diuretic called Starcaps (which is not a steroid) and is used to lose water weight. Nearly every big man in the league uses some type of diuretic since often they have a weight clause in their contract so they must stay below a certain weight. It turned out that Starcaps had a banned substance in it which was not listed in the ingrediants on the label. Nor was this product listed on the NFL banned substance list. There were several other players in the league who also used this product and flunked the test. Courts have ruled several times now that both Kevin and Pat Williams were innocent but the NFL keeps appealing it anyway probably because losing the case makes them look like morons and their egos can't deal with it.
