Brady will be fine. SOmething sort of Similar happened to Philip Rivers when he hurt his knee remember? torn acl. he had surgery and was back with the Chargers and three months & had the best season of his career. SO I think Brady will be fine

What is Brady doesn't come back. Now that Cassel is gone what happens now. I wonder how Cassel is going to do with a lousy team like the chiefs

Yup Matt's a chief.  Good luck to him because he's going to need it

Adam Schefter of NFL.com is reporting that the Chiefs have completed a trade for Patriots back-up (but franchised!) quarterback, Mr. Matt Cassel. Details of the compensation package have yet to be publicized.

I saw Matt Cassel on the Five Four blog the other day. He looked really cool in their gear. Here is the link: http://www.fivefourclothing.com/post/January-Blog-Look_of_the_Week-2009/look_of_the_week-8

on another note he was franchised and I'm wondering if Tom is going to be back to try and gain his position back.

I do not like the Patriots at all but probably because I don't like Brady but now that Cassal has taken over my opinion has changed. He did a fantastic job this year. I like him better than Brady because Cassal seems like a working mans QB Brady is too much Hollywood like Romo. I hope Brady doesn't come back this year and Cassal can take over

Cassal has done a great job this year. Dont' put Brady a such a high pedestal because he doesn't deserve to be there as a QB and as a human being. Brady is a creampuff and a cheater just like Belecheat. Brady left his girlfriend when she was pregnant with his kid for his supertramp model girlfirend. Thats really class isn't it

How come I like the Pats now that Casal is QB and I didn't like them when Brady was QB. Hey Matt keep up the good work and make the Pats managment have a tough decision next year when and if Creampuff Brady comes back. Hey Matt you wouldnt get your girlfriend pregnant then abandon her and take off with a supermodel tramp would you

Our defensive players, who are generally known for playing 60 minutes of football just couldn’t bear the big fat ugly brunt that is Matt Cassel.  He’s a moral buster an in my personal opinion a bad player, or an unprepared player.  You choose.  Either way, in order for us to salvage our season one of two things needs to happen.  First, we need to decide whether or not we want to change our offensive scheme to better suit Cassel, and second, we need to determine whether or not that’s even possible.  Either way, Go Pats!!!

You should, I mean we saw so many short pass attempts in the Charger game didn’t we?  So why all the disappointment lately?  Well, it’s simple, Matt Cassel is either so ill prepared or simply professionally lacking that he can’t even manage a simple 5 yard or 3 yard pass.   And what effect does this have on the team and their morale, a devastating effect. I mean our defense gave up in the third quarter.  We all saw it!! It was 17 -3, we were in position to score and we laid a big fat egg!!

And heck why not?  You look at Watson and Welker especially, they’re both perfect for those sorts of plays, especially that speedy little Welker.  So, you have these dink and dunk plays and then you’ll have Moss occasionally go deep for those surprise passes, that and having the easiest schedule in the league, we can make the playoffs!!  Everyone agree?

I’m sure after the game that night he rummaged through his box of childhood memorabilia and grabbed his old blanky, sat on his bed and sucked his thumb.  So, what did the greatest coach of our time do?  Well, he thought, and he thought, and then called Charlie Weis, then he thought some more.  And finally, he had an idea!!  He shot up and said,” that’s it!!  I’ve got it!! All we need to do is execute the dink and dunk plays, just like the old days!!  That’s it, yeah, we’ll just gain 3 yards here and 5 yards there, eat up some clock and get close enough to the end zone to score.  Brilliant”!!
