Forte needs to lose 20 pounds and move to wide receiver.  He's terrible at running but great at catching the football.

You guys obiviously didn't read the final reoprt on him this year. Matt was injured the whole entire season, hence the reason why he didn't run so well, (not to mention the O-Line), and the Bears front office did not want this news to be exploited because they were down 3 running backs due to injury. They fear teams would've caused injury to him further. Last year, everyone was on the Matt Forte wagon for Rookie of the Year! He broke Bears Team & NFL records running and catching the ball. (and we know he is fast, see link below) It says it all. You people are just DUMB FOOTBALL FUX!

matt forte sucks so who is on the free agency to help? they should have got larry johnson while they had the chance now the bengals are stacked. We wont use a third round pick on a running back, and there wouldn't be anyone good there anyway.

Matt Forte is terrible he is too slow and to weak to be in the nfl.  He sucked this year he sucked last year. last years 3.9 average is terrible the top 20 running backs in regards to yards per game averaged over 4 yards per carry. He is not fast enough to make someone miss but not strong enough to truck someone

needs to weight train with a personal trainer.. maybe the same trainer he trained with before the combine/draft. This guy needs to put on weight if he's going to play like steven jackson

I had him in my fantasy team last year and won the championship because of him. He definitely doesn't suck. I think his performance this year is a result a bad O line and terrible coaching. Look at Cedric Benson for example. It's a coaches job to FIX a morale problem, not fan the flames by encouraging the ostraciaztion of a player. Calling the same god damn running play 7 times in a row for an injured running back only to berate him in the locker room in front of the whole team after the game because the plays didn't work is ridiculous. Everyone said he sucked when he was at Chicago but how was his performance when he played against Chicago this year? 189 yds and a touch?  Being treated the way he was treated by Chicago management would drive any man to drink. Chicago's problem is terrible management. Blaming Forte for Chicago's terrible performance this year is just silly.

The only reason matt forte sucks this year is because the bears o-line sucks this year. look at highlights of last year and you can see how good r o-line was. this year its alot different and its not as good. if you have noticed none of the bears backs have done good this year. dumbass's

That what yall said about cedrick and now he is the leading rusher in the NFL..I cant stand you fake ass bears fans. Look at the coaching instead of the players. Why is it everyone who leave chicago does great. I hate chicago far weather fans.

I don't think Matt is the issue.
The Bears offense as a whole needs to work, but it's not just about Matt.  It's also that O-Line.

What the hell happened to the, "vaunted Bears defense?" Their starting free safety is from a division 2 school and the team said that hes the best athlete on the defense? AAHHHHH!!!

Matt Forte is too slow. The only way he is gonna be a good runningback, is on a different team, like Benson. The Bears offensive line is hilarious. I think he was only good last year because Orton threw him the ball every other play and the o-line was better.
