Vince Young was also ROY. And where he is now? Bill Cowher knew what to do with run option college QB's. He made them WR's.

Feel sorry for Browns fans....watching Wentz do very well and knowing their idiot front office actually gave Griffin a 2 year contract and will bring him back this year when he's ready...or worse the beginning of next year. If they don't use their first round pick on a decent QB prospect, I don't know why anyone would buy a ticket for their (inevitably) shitty games!

After the divorce it will probably take her a few good years to get that nig stench off her, as well as out of the house.

I don't think he actually wants to be on IR--his big ego mistakenly allows him to believe he has high caliber NFL QB talent--but the fact is that is where he spends most of his time. They'll probably bring him back because he has a 2 year deal and they-mistakenly- want to see what he has got left. Nothing but misery folks for any team stupid enough to have him on the roster. The smart teams wont even touch him for a backups back-up now!!!

RG3 is the laziest player in the NFL. He gets paid a lot to do nothing except sit in IR. I can't wait for his career to finally end and see him selling nasty assed Subway sandwiches at the stadium so he can pay his soon ex-wife child support and alimony.

It really is sad. We could have had Wentz. I understand that we've picked 25 shltty QBs in a row and Wentz was not a "sure" thing....but my God!! G3 looked like the same ol shlt he was in Washington. Somebody please put me out of my misery. I wish I was born 200 miles away....,in fukking Pittsburgh.

Sure, he has been done for at least 2 years, but the problem is he is not playing now every week to show how bad he is on a weekly basis. His arm will heal and they'll want to bring him back to try to "realize his potential". Good luck with that. Brilliant Harvard man DePodesta--of baseball "Moneyball" fame will fit it all real soon. His first moves have clearly been winners. Looks good in his sit though and draws a big salary paid for by Cleveland fans.

rg3 is so done and has been for 2 years. The execs sticking by him should be fired. The team is a joke and will never get better without better drafting, management, coaching. Essentially everything they are doing complete joke. I'm done with them.

The video of the hit was was a cornerback who was mostly stationary. RGIII was the one with the momentum...ran right into the guy. Instead of sliding or swerving at the last second, he went into the defender straight on, chest up. The CB just put a decent luck on him without any speed or intent to crunch. Brilliant Bob basically put a lick on himself the dumbass...if it had been an angry LB, the dufus might be in traction now.

Everybody at WIP except Howard Eskin wanted him. I've  reminded a few of them on reply of coarse.

Yes, that proves there are fools on the radio, fools on the sidelines, and fools in the front offices. So it appears the biggest fools are in the Browns front office not the Eagles! Putting RGIII on the field is like putting a thoroughbred in a horse fight with a Clydesdale. When the Clydesdale hits the thoroughbred, its going to break. Before he was injured withe the Redskins, they were all enamored with his athleticism and arm. Bit the athleticism was fleeting and the arm not that accurate or truly effective. He's no pocket NFL QB...cant stand and deliver from smart reads. The Browns probably figured he was a cheap rebuilding project...except there was nothing to rebuild. Any ability to be effective was gone after the first year, the first injury, and, most importantly, when opposing defenses saw enough film to know how to rattle his cage and beat him. He's been done since 2014, but some are slow to realize this. If I were a Browns fan, I'd be asking why I should pay for the debacle. Do you really want to win, or are you that stupid?

Tony Romo is certainly injury-prone, but he has taken a lot more hits and played a lot longer than Griffin...and he has proven he could win games. Griffin not only sucks, but he is injury prone as well. The worst possible combination. A couple dropped balls, a shotgun snap over his head, may be just enough to sow doubt and give him another look in 10 weeks or next season. Meanwhile they wait. The man is line a parasite sucking on the sap of a host. But the front office crowd in Cleveland is not the sharpest lot it seems.

Why is Hue Jackson defending RGIII...simple organizational politics and plain good business. Certainly the GM and the new money all genius Podesta had some role in the decision to bring Griffin to Cleveland--if not Jackson himself. To say you made a colossal mistake one game into the season shows up everybody involved. To say the entire season is shot to shit and were playing for draft choices is unwise from a business perspective. They still need the impassioned faithful to come out and pay big fees to park, buy overpriced, shitty food and beer, and possibly, a Griffin jersey for $100. The only problem is the first game showed just how colossal their mistakes were. Redskins fans and analysts could see this coming...theyve been there. But football is primarily a business--the owners want to win, sure, but they also want to make money! Hue can't say, we've completely screwed up here after the first game. He needs the faithful to keep buying tickets and merchandise. It is not unlike politics...he is going to make Cleveland great again....someday, perhaps...but keep buying in the meantime!!!

Why is Hue Jackson defending RG3 for hurting his shoulder like a moron? He could've ran out of bounds or slid, but he chose to run into a Cornerback instead!
When you're a brittle-boned shrimp like RG3, avoid getting hit. It's embarrassing that he still doesn't know how to protect himself after 4 whole seasons. The Browns just need to draft a better QB after getting a GM and Coach that know what the hell they're doing.

And he SUCKED that one game he played. The worst thing about this from the Browns perspective is that he is not on the field for most of the season to DEMONSTRATE week by week how bad he SUCKS. There will be dome doubt going into next he the guy still, can he come back big. The same crap went on for 2 years in Washington before they cut this total loser loose. Advice to Cleveland...DRAFT a QB this year and release this idiot. He spent more time on preparing that ridiculous "man bun" he walked into Philly stadium before the game than he did preparing to play. He simply sucks!!!
