Tim Hasselbeck only got the job on ESPN because the network is owned by Disney, as is ABC which features his wifes show. Really look at Jesse Palmer who was on the Bachelor, also on ABC;his career nubers at Floida were terrible. For me as a fan I want insight from actual players, really it seems that ESPN trys too hard to just appeal to the "causal" am I right? I love sports and I get really annoyed when they try and pass these guys off as "experts" Remember Trent Dilfers career after his team won the superbowl? he just bounced from team to team; as a backup nothing more, all he did was "manage" the game is his amazing D could shine. I respect him more though then I'll ever respect Tim Hasselbecks' opinon. Get this his career numbers in six NFL seasons are 5 td 7 int and 1,01 12 yds! Sorry but that doesn't give him the right to breakdown real NFL QBs.He had never made the impact nor put in the years[sorry didn't mention he started 5 games for was in 03'] that every other analyst that covers the NFL[meaning the former players or coachs] on that network had done in their careers. I think that he only without a doubt got the job due to his wife be on the View. |

even worse is that EH still talks about him like he did actually play or even that he still plays....why can't she just give up on the fact that she is married to a QB when she actually wasn't...and totally agree that he should no be a discussing the game for pay....why do they keep him with so many really disliking TH??? |

this sucks, we should have more people commenting on this forum...he sucks balls and was the worse QB in the history of the NFL - 10th string what??? and to top it all off...he's actually commenting about the sport of football...are you kidding me...he's a douche and has no knowledge of the game, he just loved getting paid to sit on the bench and be a practice dummy! now ESPN has this guy working for them, how come that doesn't surprise me, he must've sucked someone's dick to work on there...I mean out of all the retired football players, why this guy, I mean 99% of the fan base had no clue he freaking played let alone be a QB...they would have to google to find that out... |
