I think Aaron is an elite QB with the potential to be even better. I think he is HOF material. Even when the Pack was 6 and 10 his stats were good. He will be like Steve Young is to Joe Montana. Our schedule next year looks easy except we play the Giants and the Niners

First of all, I wasn't on here last year, so all of your argument manipulation about last year vs. this year has nothing to do with anything I said.

My post had nothing to do with last year's Superbowl - it was more just pointing out how silly it is to try to claim that regular season MVP is the most important award in football. It's not. Winning the Superbowl is.

The Packers won that last year as a TEAM, and that team carried Rodgers. He'd be nothing without a good team carrying him. They showed how important he is to the team when Flynn played instead of him, and the team looked better without him. That just goes to show what a joke the MVP award was this year. Rodgers is a mediocre QB being carried by a good team. Last year that team carried him all the way to a championship, but that just makes him lucky - not good. But sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, so he's got that going for him...

Well, it's also a pretty stupid statement to say each these teams is only in the superbowl because of a single play, while disregarding the rest of the season. However, if we're just talking about the postseason, let's not forget that another big reason the Giants are in the superbowl is because the Packers didn't play well and Rodgers completely crumbled without his team carrying him.

This year's Super Bowl should be like a real one, not like the one last year with mediocre players and teams. The good teams last year were beating each other, and the first thing you know, mediocre teams were vying for the Super Bowl championship, that happens sometimes through a fluke, but fortunately, not often. and yes, i agree with you, it will be great to see outstand qbs in the Super Bowl this year.

unfortunately, we need to let go of brett, as great as he was with comeback victories and everything else. he buckled under pressure from his vikings teammates and came back one more year, injuries and all. he should have retired after that one great year with the vikings and not tried to play with those injuries, as much as he loves the game. so we need to let him enjoy his retirement and hope to replace aaron with another qb, sooner rather than later.
