As long as he has HH for his arm candy, that must be enough to feed his ego.

Who cares how DA feels? Really? He's banging a former Ms Universe who treats him like an accessory. Doesn't seem like a sensitive guy at all, or even one with an ounce of common sense. It's a free country, he collects a cool $6M and retires to Austin. I doubt he even cares if he ever plays again.

Not to mention his gf is turning him into a joke. Here, hold my purse while I pose with my vag out..

The bottom line is he made no positive impact. Same results as year before. Stop blaming the QB. He was a dud. If he wasn’t they’d keep him to help the new QB. They’ve lost interest and are moving on. You sound like he pays you to defend his mediocrity.

*One of the complaints about the team, not the time...
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Fri, 15 Feb 2019 23:13:57 GMT reply
I heard DA did make an impact in the locker room, that the younger guys in his room looked to emulate him, noticing how hard he worked. Some even asked for his advice. Part of his salary was for that reason because one of the complaints about the time was complacency on the part of the players. Possibly because of the lifestyle and great weather and more than generous contracts.

You can't get to the playoffs with 2 QB's who have a difficult time finding the endzone. The starter allegedly had little pocket presence/difficulty reading the field and IMO feared getting hurt again. The sub spent a lot of time throwing the ball away. The OL was porous and the defense acted like it wasn't even on the field most of the time. When the team got to 3rd down, it was usually long and then the HC would call for the run instead of passing it and with 4D and inches and the game on the line, would punt. Nonsensical. But let's blame DA because he couldn't throw to himself. Right now, he's feeling very badly about it all on the beach in Playa del Carmen.

I've been a DA fan since his days at St Louis but I don't feel sorry for him or anybody that makes $6M for a mediocre performance. Plus his age, his history of injuries. It's great how he always showed up in the playoffs, but that was New Eng and t.hey always make the playoffs. Getting to the playoffs is hard if you don't have TB. He didn't seem to have an impact on the field or in the locker room, but most aging receivers do not. He should be happy he got the $6M.

He did not make a difference. He was brought in to help the team get to the playoffs which they didn’t. They didn’t bring him in to boost his personal stats. If it’s the QBs fault, why are they considering dumping him now that the QB is gone? Because he didn’t help the team and they paid too much for him. They are going to cut their losses on that bad decision.

But he did make a difference and damn it was his first year there. It's not his fault they have a sh$t quarterback

Reality is not hate. They thought he was going to make a difference and he didn’t. It’s a rebuild year for them and they need it.

In his tagged pics a guy posted and pic of him and said I really wish the Dolphins fans would stop telling Amendola that he needs to be cut when he got the most yardage out of all their receivers all year. And Danny liked the photo. I feel bad for him right now. He is probably really feeling all of it right now and I don't think he deserves the hate that he gets at all.

Can't DA find a new gf or at least a new hookup at the beach so we have something new to talk about?

And I stand by my opinion he ruined his career and legacy for short money. So I haven’t changed your mind and you haven’t changed mine but I think we’ve debated this to death.

10:19-I agree with you. It's a business and DA took advantage of a good offer. I stand by my position that he made the right move to go to Miami for the money. It's a business decision for both the team and players.

04:26 It’s not that the Pats didn’t value DA, they had other needs to address on the roster and they felt they were good at the WR position. The revolving WR door during pre-season was telling that they weren’t all set. However, even if the Pats did have the cap space available, DA’s market at $6m a season made it virtually impossible to be competitive without misaligning WR roles and responsibilities relative to contract year. If Pat’s would’ve offered DA $4m a season to be competitive with his offers, he would’ve been making barely less than JE and the same as CH who were both expected to play a bigger role than DA would if he stayed. The Pats had holes to fill and they believed they had enough WRs on the team to make up for the loss. It was a risk and the Pats made it to the SB without him, but now they need to address their WR holes and production. There’s lots of moving pieces in FA and it never boils down to not valuing someone. It’s a business and it’s usually a combo of available cap space, filling roster holes, and finding pieces can fit in the system for the right price.
